If after repeated attempts you are unable to log in, please try the following steps:
- Close the game.
- Restart your Steam or EPIC client fully.
- Wait at least 5 minutes before starting the client again.
- Launch Mortal Online 2 and attempt to log in.
- Perform a DNS Flush.
You can do this on Windows by typing ipconfig /flushdns into the command prompt.
- Try changing your DNS server.
You can find instructions on how to do this here.
- If you have access to a VPN service, try using it. Alternatively if you are currently using a VPN, try disabling it.
- Ensure the game server is not currently down for maintenance or deploying an update.
- Ensure Steam is not currently experiencing unplanned down-time. Steam usually runs weekly maintenance on Tuesdays some time between 6PM and 9PM EST (Eastern Standard Time), which should not affect your ability to log in. However, in rare cases Steam can experience significant issues which may affect your ability to log into our servers.
- At your own risk, you may also attempt to disable your Firewall temporarily to see if this resolves the issue.
If you are still unable to log in, please try the following:
- Close the game.
- Contact a Game Master via our official Mortal Online 2 Discord channel, tell them about your issue and ask them to force kick your character from the world.
- Wait for confirmation from the Game Master.
- Launch Mortal Online 2 and attempt to log in.
You can view online Game Masters via the member list of the Discord channel.
If none of the above steps solve your issue, please make a support ticket via the Help Center and include as much detail as you can about what is happening for you and what you have already tried.
