We are planning to push a server patch during the weekly maintenance this Wednesday.
This server patch will include many things such as stability fixes for a node crash, however we are making one change in particular that we wanted to announce ahead of time, as it relates to Territory Control and sieging balance.
Currently a destroyed player house or keep goes through two different stages before being removed from the world.
- The structure is only lootable by the owner. (48 hours)
- The structure is lootable by anyone. (24 hours)
Player houses, strongholds and keeps all go through these stages once their health is depleted to zero, and they are considered “destroyed”.
Due to the time investment required to siege a keep however, we will be decreasing both stages on destroyed keeps to 1 hour each.
This means once the keep reaches zero health, it will be freely lootable by anyone after one hour, for one hour, before it will return to ruins allowing a new keep deed to be placed.
We will not be changing the destroyed state timers on normal player houses and strongholds in this update.
