Greetings Mortals,
We recently published a feedback questionnaire regarding the Sprint 14 PTR content and new features, which has now been closed.
The responses were extremely promising, and we want to thank everyone who took the time to fill it out and let us know your thoughts.
Here are the internal changes we have made as a result of the feedback we received:
- Ether Wayshrine travel speed has been increased by +10%, from 2,000 to 2,200 speed.
- The “Strained Spirit” debuff now lasts for 15 minutes instead of 20 minutes.
- The Wayshrine travel VFX and field of view have been tweaked to better match the speed you are traveling, so it doesn’t feel like you are moving slower than you really are.
- The cost of War Upkeep has been increased by 3.5 times compared to the values seen on the PTR.
- For reference this now means that to declare war on a guild with an average standing of 200, it will cost 30g per day instead of the previous 8g, and to declare war on a guild with the maximum average standing of 1,000, will now cost 84g instead of 24g.
- Wars may now only be ended by the declaring guild, the 14 day duration expiring, or by the declaring guild running out of gold in their Treasury to afford the upkeep cost.
- Guilds still need to be at war now before a siege can be declared, however the 24 hour timer between when the war starts and when a siege can be declared has been removed. This means you can declare war on a guild and then initiate a siege declaration immediately.
- The Caravan Banker slot count has been increased from 30 to 40.
- The Caravan Mercenaries have been increased in strength to be more formidable.
- We have replaced the new Veterancy emotes Pushup and Pledge with looping animations, so that you will continue performing the emote until cancelled. This means you will keep doing pushups, or remain in the kneeling position for Pledge until you choose to stand up.
- Carcass items will now also be increased to a stack size of 100k rather than 10k.
- We have increased everyone’s Health by +10 to slightly raise the TTK or “Time To Kill”.
- We have also made several balance adjustments to various Combat Abilities, in addition to a couple spells, including Akh Bond, which you will be able to learn more about in the patch notes on release.
The full patch notes of this PTR can be found here on our website, however note the differences mentioned above.
All going well the patch should be in your hands quite soon, there are just a few small remaining things we are chasing down and wrapping up.
Thank you again to everyone who gave us feedback, the changes above are a direct result of your efforts and passionate responses!
See you in Nave,
The Star Vault Team
