You cant always patch your way out of server issues.

Sometimes your servers just suck.

Cant log in, day 3.

Im waiting patiently like many...but is there a light at the end of the tunnel or are we just bandaid fixing to stable?

The reason asked is, what happens during the first major clash? Servers just drop out?

This is exactly (almost) what happened to Life is Feudal. Refusal of developers to have more than one server outside of the UK.

I think the game is great and woukd even pay a higher sub fee for a more stable balanced multi national server
Dawg, you been complainin' on all these posts, you got as girlfriend yo!? If not is suggest you get a down ass Juggalo queen, they always down to DTF! I bet if you got laid you wouldn't be posting these hater threads, grow up and drink some faygo yo, WOOP WOOP FAMILY!

They were warned by multiple people many, many, MANY times and have always ignored it to pursue the single server solution.

I've even had discussions with people who said I was wrong because I thought two servers (NA & EU) would be the way forward.. ESPECIALLY in a modern day market (As this isn't 2010 anymore).

I get people want to ride the dick of having everyone be in a single server, and I love the idea of it don't get me wrong; but the technology really isn't there to support it (And it's showing right now.)

The first game ended up dropping to about 300 to 500 active players in the last few years of its life span, and the game still felt generally "alive", and it definitely could of used some pop. But MO2 would be fine with anywhere from 1.6k to 2k active players in-game and be populated. More so then people think.

But, I guess we have to force 8k+ people into one server that can't handle it then make players suffer with a queue + consistent client bugs that keep cropping up.

If anyone thinks I'm wrong, please @ me and tell me why; because honestly at this point the idea of immersion is really stupid at the expense of players being able to enjoy the game. I honestly don't think this is an issue that will, like @Exiledkhallisi said, be fixed. It'll just get band-aided over and over until enough people have stopped playing.

I feel bad for people who plan on heavily investing into assets and sieging comes out. Could you imagine your stuff getting sieged and the game is just like "Sorry buddy, you can wait for four hours to maybe get in and respond to the attack on you."

I'm a pretty staunch supporter of MO2 and SV, but this outcome was seen 2+ years ago and they openly and vehemently ignored it. Guess all we can do is wait on Sarducaa to come out and force NA players to play on a PvE content and make the already jaded community, more of the latter.

One world one server no instance
is the reason I bought into this game
I don’t care if it’s crash or not as long as it is limping and up

You're probably a minority then. I don't care if we have 1 server or a thousand servers. I just want to play a quality experience with minimal lag and no queue time.

The worst part for me is not knowing when (if) it's going to get fixed. Like I expected the first fix to allow me to play, then right after it was another gamebreaking bug preventing me (and may others ofc) from logging in, now it's also been fixed and yet we still can't log in due to infinite que time.

When that gets fixed will there be another issue and after that again and again and again.

I just want to play, not knowing when that'll be possible is just so frustrating. Will it take a couple days, a month, longer, will it ever even get resolved if it's some core issue with the servers.

It's such a pian to not know enough.

It was clearly sold as a one server game so I would think a lot of people are counting on that.
I feel pretty damn certain that splitting the server would insta kill the game due to not enough pop then no pop.

Yikes...

There is legitimate reason to complain. Time investment is in jeopardy. Judging by the majority response and the other posts all over and now uncountable bad steam reviews poppping up, i am not alone with what ive posted.

If you care about the game, all of this should be concerning... for a game that only has a few thousand players, thousands of refunds should be a huge red flag for you.

Ps. I've dated quite a few hood rats. Dime a dozen. They do not compare to my queen of a wife. 😁

yeah, the lack of communication is wild. It’s obvious at this point the 30 devs thing was a lie, just like “the server can hold 100k” claim; but you’d think they could at least find an intern or something to give people updates.

This was actually a very dignified response to that dude asking you if you had a girlfriend haha. Nice work, sir.

Thanks 😊

Those who resort to ad hominem usually defeat themselves. At the point of insult, their entire position has already lost. There is no sense in stooping.

the Jungle. Meditating on things to come.
I think that at bare minimum players should be able to at least know their position in the queue. It would actually help tremendously to know that you are actually in a line and not just waiting for nothing.

If it is actually working, which I doubt. Maybe it looks good but it´s a client side problem.

I just wonder why they did all those stress test if not to find a solution for exactly this happening.

stress tests, even in the best case scenario, only attract a small% from those who actively played the game at the time. Now they are dealing with much much more numbers, as everyone who bought a copy, and their friends, are trying to login at the same time. I mean things like "do we need a system to kick out AFK players?" might have risen if they had had 6 hour queues during stress tests.

and questions like that should rise anyway, but SV cant afford to hire specific specialists, they are just a bunch of coders who try to design on the run

I'm gonna just be that guy and say you're dead wrong. I support you in your opinion, but the technology isn't there. Many parts of the game have been adjusted to accommodate for the many players around the world giving a skewed experience as opposed to what it could of really been.

I'm a supporter of MO2 and SV through and through, but this was a bad decision no matter what way you try to run it. It will, at the end of the day, be one of the many things that causes people to quit or not even play.

Guess most peoples responses are "well!! they wouldnt of played anyway!!" but it's hard to say when you ask someone to play with 150+ ping, pay a sub, pay a near triple A price for their game, and beyond all that continue paying waiting for things to either be fixed or added so that your experience is better. This is coming from the PoV of someone -new- to the game I should say as well. I've played MO1 and MO2 for a long time and know what to expect and I'm willing to put up with it.

MO vets are always fond of saying that this game would be fine with 1-2k concurrent players online. Even if this game was divided into 4 regions, with the current numbers it would be fine according to that metric. Accounting for the fact that at least half of launch day players will probably leave after 3 months means that splitting the server into 2 regions would still be fine.

New information from the developer incase you have missed it

Questions!

Are the servers at capacity?

The short answer is no. Server is not working correctly with capacity cap. What is happening is certain hotspots regions have unnormal load that sets the tempo of login.
To couple this the queue system doesn’t simply work correctly

Wanted to add some clarification, Its not that your server node is busy and you can't get into that specific node, its that certain nodes are so busy, its affecting the grid.
