I've been complaining about the slow attacks on open pvp for months, it has been a trend going only one direction for a very long time. StarVault doesn't want to listen. They have been making it harsher and harsher to be a pvper in MO2. I had a guild mate who had wayy over 1,000 murdercounts...
You forgot that Priests and Equerry that you buy vanish every time the server reboots.
You didn't mention that people can't do upkeep on their houses.
And several bugs I won't mention because they're exploitable and can really mess things up.
Probably some bugs we haven't found yet as well...
Oh, apparently if you're wardec'd on someone (which means allied to, in reality) you can't even /duel them- well, I mean, you can, but even with the duel active the Lictor guards will teleport to you and murder you while you duel. 1000 IQ change.
Had to change vote to 'bad' after learning about some of the bugs in this patch.. oh boy. I've been saying SV needs to let these patches bake. No need to push them out the second they are "ready".
I can only vote 'Okay' (and I want to vote 'Bad) because:
-Guards being unparryable is stupid as fuck. Guards are already overtuned to hell and have been complained about endlessly
-Changes to war system (combatant debuff) dumb af. Exactly nobody was using the war dec system because you can't...
Actually, one of the biggest gripes with this game is that PvP not happening often enough and that it is punished far too harshly. Don't believe me? I have made threads with over 10K views/ hundreds of replies on this very subject. Many people who quit have cited that it is because PvP actions...
Word from Henrik is that the fix is going to be in Tuesday's patch for this issue. I'll wait and see, hopefully it has been addressed. If not, we'll have to break out the pitchforks again.
But what we're discussing here is the fact that since the recent change, a light 2h sword animation doesn't match the actual attack. The actual attack lands sometime early during the swing animation. We all know that the best EU player is going to forever best the top NA player. That hasn't...
The way it works is that people with lower ping still see animations more easily- about twice as many frames, giving them much more time to react to the attack accurately.
Ping normalization mechanic is only in for the attacks, there is not a 100 ms delay for parry. So that means that people...
Yeah I am aware of how math works. Even playing with 140-150 ping I can almost always parry an attack; with 115 I have never had an issue when focusing on parrying, unless the opponent is particularly good at animation jank/feints/etc. Now, the timing of the animation simply does not match the...
Just as the title says, since that really dumb change to light weapon speed a couple patches ago that was never fully fixed.
Not sure what I'm talking about? Well if you are an NA player, or someone who regularly has ~130 ping or more, fight a skilled EU player who is wielding a flakestone 2h...
There will be pros and cons for that. It depends on your playstyle. I think if you're out soloing or fighting in very small groups, you might find a sword more effective, but if you tend to roam with a larger party, a spear/shield combo might be great. You'll have more survivability with a...
Having a rough go at it now that you can't double stack horse armor? Rough, dude. Maybe get some high-end horse armor on. A tungsteel set will give you double the protection that a molarium heavy horse armor would.
5-10 people to do the mino king? Nah. Show me a video of someone doing it AFTER RELEASE with less than 18 and I will pay you 100 gold. See, the mino king has been adjusted and re-balanced quite a bit. You can get the 10 best players in the entire game and still probably not down the mino king...
After 2 years of testing combat they decide that 2 months after release is the perfect time to make weapons even faster. I guess because EU didn't have a big enough advantage and Henrik's main is a bonelord rat who wasn't able to abuse ping to destroy non-EU players.
