The beastmastery pets weren't that bad. They did ruin small scale though. They didn't scale well in big fights where they could just be bowed down.

@Rhias Pretty much uses only halberds, he could probably tell you all about it. I'm a simple man gimme a sword or a polesword and i'm happy.

The Polesword was a Poleaxe, or required the skill anyway, so it was used quite alot. People did use halberds which were poleaxes.

No actually it’s something they added so that if you block the wrong direction you can’t correct your block immediately. Sounds good on paper.
