Give it up, the vendors buying all your crap that should have no or low value generating uncapped amounts of gold is bad game design. In a "player driven economy" if you're main interaction in your craft or trade is selling to an NPC vendor then somebody messed up Selling everything to a...

    Daggers.

From my testing, I think that when wielding a dagger with a shield there is no possibility of getting a handle hit with a left swing. Not sure if intended or bug.

How much better if that char can have skinning with secondary points and still get all of the materials, even if in lesser quantity?

Firstly, butchery did not bring too much gold into the game, that was Sarducca. You can't add a bunch of hoops to jump through in a system and also remove the profitability and expect it to still be a flourishing economic system. Low tier armor materials were only by-products of a gold making...

They are copy pasted from MO1. SV has mentioned that things can change there before release.

I understand your intent, the problem is how much that would limit the amount of gold entering the economy. For example, if the map had the same resources as MO1 a town like Vadda would only have a local economy of around 6 gold worth of bandits per hour plus a few gold worth of skeletons...

    A Strange Bug

This a bug that I encountered in this one person across multiple fights on one day. If his swing would connect it wouldn't have a swing animation, but if he missed he did have a full swing animation.

    Arrows.

Arrows often do not trigger a damage message on the shooter or the target even though they do damage. Other times they say Humanoid's arrow.

Yes, as long as you can get all of the various mats by skinning.

    Quality of Life Suggestion Thread

I hope that they will put an option to turn the sound of my footsteps off, it really gets old listening to it.

Except that having to skin things would keep people out in the wilderness longer, whereas butchery (which isn't interesting or meaningful) has players spending the time in town or house or palisade. That is a big difference. If you couple that with not having to put extra points into it, it will...

    Butchery.

Problem is new players cannot compete with veterans npc sites, whereas animals are scattered everywhere. Most newbs want to craft, as well. Buying armor and weapons is hard for newbs at the rate that they can make gold on skeletons or bandits when they have to compete with veterans. A better...

How to raise the skill ceiling

Seriously? From an American perspective the way combat is right now is better than it has ever been, in MO2 or MO 1. Europeans are just feeling the loss of their MASSIVE advantage.

If vendors don't buy animal materials, it removes a ready source of income for new players who can't compete for the other source of gold creation, npc dungeons. Remember, there has to be some pathway for gold to enter the economy or no one will have a way to buy anything from other players.

I don't see butchery on the crafting list found on the MO2 website. Does anyone know if it will be in the game or not?

Need to be able to jump/climb better

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply it was a bad idea. It would be great, especially if it didn't take primary points!

Need to be able to jump/climb better

I would guess they would have to rebuild the game to add climbing. Recode it, or whatever. I had to reroll once because I was stuck in a crack while in ghost mode and I was jumping constantly and it would just cancel the countdown to go to nearest priest. I wish MO2 could be free of all that...

Discussion about starting locations for new players

Before tc when a newb guild lived in a town there was always fighting outside of town, and guilds didn't really get destroyed then either. It was later when things became more like what you are describing.
