What specs do I need to run 2440p / 144 fps at max graphics

I am currently on an Alienware Aurora R7 (GTX 1050 TI) and I am getting AT BEST 10 frames per second in MO2 at 1080p and minimum graphics.

We all know that this is litterally unplayable.

At what kind of specs am I aiming for if I want to take advantage of my 27 inch, 2440p, 144 hz monitor, to play MO2 at max graphics and 144 fps?

Well, I don't know if this will help you, but with 1660Ti, 32gb ram, i7-94xx, 120Hz in full hd I'm having arround 50-80fps in max settings with only shadows and effects on low.

That doesnt even seem possible to get 60 to 80 fps with that setup i have a 8 core 1900x threadripper and i get 30 to 60 fps with an 8gb RX570 amd card, The Game is in Alpha state and requires a huge amount of processing power on both ends, Everything is not optimized expecially lighting foliage and misc load of other things. But maybe im missing something do tell us this secret of how a 1660ti 4gb card can handle this with 80 fps? Im nearly bottlnecked out with my gpu at 100 percent at 30 fps with Direct x 12, and alos fyi: dx12 requires 30 fps, dx11 is 60 fps you dont even need that high of an FPS.( lighting town heavy mesh areas i drop to 20 to 25 fps. the only way i can run this at 60 fps plus is with a 16gb 6000 new amd card or a 5900 or vega which would be next upgrade, Hope it helps for guy who was looking into what u may require its super Heavy just as Mortal online 1 was.

Update: I have been messing with graphics last week, and found out that if I put most graphics to max, my framerate dosen't change much. And also when I wrote the original post, I made my character in Meduli, which isn't optimised yet according to some people I talked to.

In fabernum I ALMOST get a playable FPS, so they are probably right.

I'll wait for further patches, see how optimized it's going to get. Maybe my 2 year old PC will be able to handle MO2 after all.

Fresh installation of Windows maybe? I didnt got those fpses magically ;) There is also other parts than graphic card and you are mentioning only that

I still dont believe what you say im not convinced also with an i7......<3 @ Vakirauta something else your hiding,.........and 32 gb of ram what much else is there asides for SSD <3, Impressive nonetheless are using dx11 or dx 12 also @ vaki?, If anything my Dinosaur GPU is my bottleneck since its running at 100 percent lol :p. (Good to know perfomance specs of 1660 vs rx570 for MO2 also ty is good information that your card seems to be able to handle the gpu load better then mine)
16 Thread AMD 1900x ThreadRipper 3.8 ghz
RX570 8gb Radeon ( it seems the older AMD gpus dont perform so well with DX12 is what im thinking vs the 1660ti which i think was more in tune for dx12 since a newer Gen)
32 GB Vulkan Ram (just sounds cools)
SSD!
DX12!

@ HolyPimp also i found a steady FPS increase ( 25 to 30 in Medudu! not bad for dx12)when changing to Fullscreen from windowed Fullscreen and lowering resolution from 2k to 1600 or 1300 other then manipulating the Low/Max settings.

Hmm, I'm running a Ryzen 5 1600x Six Core, 32 gigs of Ram with an SSD and a 2060 super. I'm getting a solid 60fps on max settings, including shadows, on DX12

@ Rankor Nice Setup, RX 570 was launched in April 18, 2017 compared to 2060 which was January 15, 2019, there is a huge two year gap of technology where as if the 1660 and 2060 are probably better stable cards for being updated to modern Graphics design, (things go so fast these days) for a proper amd setup i would need a newer gpu wondering if anyone is running on AMD 5000 Series or a 6000 jsut came out curious as to how performance would be as mentioned would be a next upgrade for me. ( would imagine the 5000 series would run equivalent to a 2060, and 6000 to a 3060)( i am new to amd so i went with the older series upgrade to my 660 GTX to the rx 570(alternative would be 2060 as upgrade and or AMD 5000) which performs quite well except for Mortal and path of exile lol ;P(the prices are bit high these days 400 plus for a gpu is kinda eh for me i remeber when it could be 300 or less for the latest tech to keep up with the games but i would have considered an intel i9 setup over amd but the cost is.... for an 8 core i9 over 1000 for the cpu and so on)( so in the end you have the competition of running mortal in amd vs nvidia with a 1060 vs rx570, and or 5000 vs 2060, 6000 vs 3060)( And also ive found over the years some games just dont work correctly on some gpus drivers confliction who knows maybe the ghost in the machine :0)

Game dont have optimization now. In empty meduli 40 fps, Mohki - 100 fps.
when i look at the sea - 30 fps.

Awerage 40-60 fps in game. Low settings or Maximum - fps same. DLSS ON. DX12.

I am about the Sameish for FPS maybe a touch bit lower in the heavier sections @ pako i think the Skylight to the West when the Sun rises def has some Heavy FPS drop for me when i do a turn around look towards the sun of sorts.

The game is totally unoptimised. It can be ran at playable framerates with mid range graphics cards but it's far from optimal. While it is CPU intensive, a high-range graphics card such as a 2070 Super is just about the only thing I'd wager runs this at high graphics without much problem.

Generally speaking, don't expect good performance in an early alpha. Hopefully it will improve. The first game only got worse, somehow.

Honestly overall @ Lasciel I get 25 - 60FPS ( higher in certain locations) plus now in fullscreen It works quite fine for me with my RX 570( which is mad old) i get 25 Plus everywhere in game which is pretty decent for a rx 570 (so no the 2070 super which is overpriced for 4gb or 6gb...) isnt the only playable card atm. as a few others were saying, also your saying its CPU instensive but then you say it needs a 2070 super to run? if it was CPU intensive....( not sure why your mentioning gpus when your saying its cpu intensive...) which overall these days everything helps SSD ram, gpu cpu it all counts towards getting a full functional working game :).( And no doubtedtly Bottlenecks play a huge par tin performance)
performance specs of MO rundown:
(random observed results of FPS)
rx570 vs 1060 15-25-30-45 plus
1660ti 60 to 80 (Vaki)
5700 vs 2060 30-60 plus
6800 vs 3060 60 plus
it jsut seems to me these are the beset permofanceish specs i can kind randomly generate in my mind :)
and then if you also compare these gpus with set Botllneck CPUS:
intel i5,i7,i9 4 to 8 cores
AMD ryzen 5 to 9, thredripper 4 to 8 cores
Agreed though its in alpha but/and i have seen great improvements overall in performance from MO devs also <3 since back to patch .23!

I have an 8 year old PC with a 1070 and the game runs great on medium/high gfx 60fps constantly at 1080p. Im surprised at how great this game looks and runs in alpha tbh.
