Slarti stood in the bank staring at his calculations on the newest beer he was getting ready to add to his line up when he thought he heard his horse whine. He ignored it. Probably a horse beater nearby. There had been a lot of those lately. The horse whining turned to panicked braying. Slarti tried to set his papers down on the counter only to slip and spill them everywhere. The horse screaming increased in intensity. Then as Slarti looked up from his papers, his horse lay dead in a pool of blood on the TIndrem Bank floor having received no protection from the numerous guards posted around. Apparently security has become so lax in Tindrem that any ole Joe Schmo can grab a long bow and hop on a statue to rain down arrows into the bank without challenge from the guards. They don't mind as long as you're not in the bank shooting arrows. Stand outside and up high, you can pump them in all day. Nope... no guard will ever investigate that.
(( Hmmmm... what about this doesn't feel immersive? I know you want to keep some areas of the city as dangerous, but this is ridiculous. If there's a rooftop or high up shooter that is murdering animals and people in the bank, the guards are not going to just stand there. ))
