None of the core combat issues and balance problems were addressed. Cheese weapons and battle tactics are still rampant. Now we just have an even lower time to kill with abilities that one shot people for no stamina cost. As much as the melee system is toxic, the true toxic part of the game is rat mages. They were buffed again with this patch. Hailstone and Ember are doing 30~40 damage on players and 60~70 on pet that has a 0.5 second cast time. Lightning and tower shields aren't nerfed either.

The only thing they didn't need to touch or change, the melee combat, has now been butchered by the great Neb which of course has no idea whatsoever about the melee combat and implemented weapon abilities that not only make no sense damage or speed wise, but are literally unparriable. Good Job at destroying the last fun and skill based thing left in the game. Mage is now more skill based than foot fighter. The whole melee combat system is now about adrenaline buildup and ability spam, absolute garbage that has no place in a directional melee based combat. Great Patch btw!!! Not like half the game is also pissed off at the rep change and tagmatons literally griefing kranesh everyday...
