Those kind of players want to be able to sit down on the chairs in the Tavern, Maybe add some benches to sit down at some locations, as inside the bank, or at the marketplace. I also would like to see ladders that can be climbed. It looks wired if Sv add ladders which can´t be used.

Nothing of high priority, but i know that this was requested in many games,
in which you could find roleplayers. They want to be able to craft furniture for their house, and lay down inside the bed, and stuff like that.

I would also like to see a gambling Minigame. Nothing of high priority but it would be awesome, if SV would consider that in the future.
I am a fan of chess and poker. I loved this game in the witcher.

I know that there are some restrictions when it come to gamble games.

In the EU you are only allowed to play with ingame earned Cash or Gold.
You see it in GTA V. You can only buy Jetons for the Casino with Cash you earned ingame and not with the money someone obtained from Cashcards. There is a limit of how many Jetons you can buy in 48 Minutes.

if these conditions are met, it should not be a problem, to add a proper gambling game into MO2.

SV should check the laws.

Only a very few countries have restrictions for gambling in Videogames, and for this regions the access could be restricted, so that those players are not allowed to bet gold.
These could then verbally agree what the winner will get paid out.

It would add a lot of fun to the game, during the time you wait for other players, to do a specic Event. It would be a reason to visit the taverns.

How the Taverns could be improved

The Barkeeper could serve the Players a drink, that remove your gray bar, or something to give the Tavern some kind of Sense. In Red Dead the Drinks made your Healthbar golden and you did not had to eat as much food, and loose as much weight in cold regions.

Roleplayers also like to know more about the Lore. Maybe Players should be able to find
some hidden Letters and inscriptions about specific places and creatures.
Take the Risar Dungen as an excemple. Henrick told in his stream, that this was once a tindremic outpost, that have been taken over by Risars.

This is a nice addon to promote the game. becuase Roleplayers will possibly make Videos about the hidden Lore, and it is never bad for a game, if more people will make Videos about a game.

Darksouls is one of many examples, in which you can find hidden lore.

Maybe a player should be able to free NPC´s out of dungens, such as the risar Dungen, from time to time, that will only spawn, if you talk to an NPC in town, to increase your reputation for the faction, which will reward you with a letter or some knowlage about the lore.

There are a thousand possibilities, to add hidden lore.

Some NPC´s could tell you somethign about crafting, if you help them and if you have a good reputation. Not the most secret
Recipes, but how the mechanics work and maybe a little knowledge about crafting and the secret of steel. . The players will watch guides on youtube, on how to make steel and different basic Materials used for crafting. Why shouldn't SV give them the opportunity to find out about this things through NPCs in the game.

Take the books as an excemple. Add some more conversations with NPC´s to the game. If you ask an NPC about how to get a weapon crafter, he could tell the player, that he will need rare Books. That he can offer the Player some knowlage, but not everything. That he need to find a Mentor himself.

The NPC could tell the new Players, that his Mentor
came from an Asian Town, far away in the east, or something similar, so that a new player will know, that he have to travel arround the world to get more knowlage about crafting and to find specific books.

Alchemy is a very complicated Profession. The NPC could tell the player, that he can find Ingridiants
which multiply the healing, healing
length. direct poison and poison over time effect.
That he can find Herbs, that
have healing abilitys but are Toxic, and that you have to find a way to neutralize the poison.

Just the basic Stuff, how the systems are working, so that new players don´t feel lost.

imagine Roleplayers could play different musical-instruments. Maybe some players would trade them some Gold Coins, if they see a Band playing music inside the tavern XD

Priorities should balways be the Combat System and sufficient dungeons and PVE content, but the content for Hunters and Roleplayers should not be forgetten.

Imo the fishing Mechanics could be improved.

I personally enjoyed the mechanics used in Red Dead online

When the fish has bitten, there are phases in which the fish resists and phases in which the fish recharges. Whenever the fish remains calm, the line can be pulled in by pressing Spacebar, while looking to the left and right with your mouse (move the fishingrod left and right) to pull the fish closer to land. Whenever the fish fidgets , this has to be stopped, otherwise the fish will escape.
Pretty simple and well implemented. Players can't write a macro for fishing.

Catched fish could be made more useful for the crafting system. Not just for Alchemy.
Otherwise it doesn't make sense to learn this profession.

As long as this is not the case, fishing should be a secondary skill.

Fully agree! It all helps making the word feel more alive and gives those decorations a reason.

I want to add:
* Add some radio/jukeboxes housing items where players can stream/listen to online radio stations! Maybe we can also have our own Radio Nave, fully driven by players with lore friendly content.
*A communication device to send messages to other players houses, similar to a fax.
*Non combat magic as Lightning, Walking on water, Breathing under water (to maybe reach underwater dungeons), Levitation

That would be a bit too much. Radio Stations ? Walking under Water ? That would not fit into the game.i would like to see a letter in your mailbox, if there will be an event, such as a Knight contest inside the Arena, so players are not forced to check the Forum, or some info about what has happened during the past 3 weeks, if a huge Guild have been sieged. If it would be possible to subscribe to a mailbox service via the Billbord, it might find some players offering news, and write funny articles about what have happened in the past 3 weeks. 30 Silver per subscription of a letter send to your home, would give Players who try hard a good ammount of Cash, if he write interesting News. But i guess nobody would use such a feature and rather visit the Forum.

A padded room.
I agree. Hopefully we will see much more of this type of stuff in MO2.

At one point MO did have a game table and different types of pieces to be used with it. But there was issues with it so it was removed and never returned.

They also did add assorted dice as random drops.

So they do seem to consider these types of things for the game.

Yes, we have that in Shroud of the Avatar. Its powered by aetherwave and looks very medieval.
Best part ist the community driven "Radio Avatar", because of the great community and their great RP content.

"Walking under Water?"
Breathing! Or a skill that lets you hold your breath longer. (To reach certain areas under water)

I can hold mine for 10 minutes!

You need more tools, not more "features".
As Vakirauta said, add dice, boards, game pieces and let players do with them what they want instead of minigames.
Also no to NPC bartenders, NPCs should be the last resort for anything, have players be bartenders. Just like breeding, farming etc. should have never been NPC based in MO, it should have been player managed.
