That would make the weather system completely pointless and unfair. It is server-side for a reason, so that everyone is playing by the same weather and for Elementalism to work as intended.

The latest patch which introduced beast mastery into the game was great, and even as a non-beast master I appreciated the new set of commands I could give to my pet. The only issue I have with it right now is the incredibly vague pet command icons which make it hard for me to tell what the icon...

2. Spear thrust does piercing damage, left/right does slash, overhead does blunt (if I'm not mistaken). 6. A shield allows you to block arrows, weapons only block melee attacks. A shield allows you to shove opponents much further compared to a regular push. Having a tower shield equipped on...

The real world does not work like that. Could you name a company that would implement what you're advocating?

The thing is, the list of changes you wanted ("immediately", I might add) is not a good way to start your proposal. It's essentially advocating for close to zero consequences for bad actors and then declaring all rule violations to be adjudicated by the playerbase. On top of that, calling for...

People forget that when they signed up for an account to play this game, they also bound themselves to follow the Terms of Service, End User License Agreement and Code of Conduct. That means whether they're aware of it or not, whether they personally agree with it or not, they have to follow...

It's been a while since I've gone on an exploration trip in the vast world of Nave. One day I just decided that I was going to head towards a snowy mountain to the east, and see what I may come across along the way. I was not at all disappointed. Chapters 01:46 - This Is Why You Need a Horse...

I made a suggestion recently about how the current murderer system should be reworked so that the player would think through carefully before going ahead with the murder: Murderers and Mass Murderers: https://mortalonline2.com/forums/threads/murderers-and-mass-murderers.10297/

They should just restrict help chat to Haven and once on the mainland you can't see it anymore. Most of the time, it's people on Haven talking to other people on Haven anyway. Not like I could help them even if I wanted to. Alternatively, replace help chat with separate town chat for each town...

Another Australian player here. ExitLag helped a lot with the ping (speaking for myself), I went from 375+ to 200ms and now everything is smooth and no warping. Yeah it aren't great that the server is all the way in London instead of the US.

Guilds are an important aspect of the world of Nave. Whether you intend to join one at some stage or go your own way as a solo player, learning about the broad spectrum of guilds will help you in the path you choose. Chapters 01:26 - Empire-Building, Territory Control Powerhouses 04:32 -...

This suggestion is to strike a better balance in how the murderer system works, instead of the current 5 murdercounts before becoming a fully-fledged murderer. a) Killing an innocent blue player or their pet turns the pker global criminal for 30 minutes. This applies specifically to murders...

It's an intermittent issue from Epic's end, nothing SV can do about it. EAC is a middleware integrated into Epic Online Services (EOS) run by Epic. Usually the issue will go away on its own after quitting the game for a few minutes. In some cases you may have to wait longer.

Source: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/1170950/view/3406437346966026446 Added Several new point of interest locations have been added to the world. Added kegs, which can be used to store a large amount of potion units. Added the ability to combine certain items such as potions and...

Mortal Online 2 is a very harsh and unforgiving MMORPG that rewards players who take responsibility for their character's safety and manage the risks in everything they do in the game. This episode looks at three common mistakes new players tend to make when they're just starting out and what...

If you've ever played any of the old Sierra adventure games (most likely not), Combine is basically lifted straight out of those games' very sandboxy Use function present in just about every Sierra adventure game. Take an item like wood and combine it with granum, and you get a portable...

Henrik is a classic example of a sigma male, basically someone who will follow their dream and vision to the ends of the earth even if no one else walks beside him. For that, he has my respect.

Every MMO I know of has had a rocky first few weeks, from way back to the early 2000s with Anarchy Online, and before that UO. Even the big names with multi-billion dollar publishers like Blizzard and Amazon pouring insane amounts of money into their respective games WoW and NW didn't fare so...
