Why we don´t need a flagging system

So you got a lot of experience living in GK? And you liked it? But you don't think that experience would work for others? Cause ur a special snowflake?

Why we don´t need a flagging system

nope none in the area that's why it was called a red bank. Besides I played in plenty of guardless, war deck, player town, griefing situations to know what to expect so point your lack of experience jabs elsewhere please, and thank you. My opinion thus far is it COULD be good with no guards.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

bitch I sat at the mohki red bank alchemy table for years, getting griefed and my shit stolen all the time. You weren't forced to quit the game either, you dont have to spawn there. Theres tons of priests. Getting griefed right now in this state of the game is a you problem.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

what would also be cool would be a flagging system, but no guards. And you can give murdercounts, and it goes to the city reputation board. Which could lead to bounty hunting n such.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

honestly this story just sounds like good gameplay to me.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

well in that case I think that would be a major problem and the town crier in other cities should tell ppl about it. Remember eventually you can't log out you need to travel to a town then travel back to safety alive, if you want to bring back any loot. Say a guy gets ganked and looted on the...

Why we don´t need a flagging system

ya I played em all my fav one was Asheron's Call and it had no flagging system. The community learned to police itself from the beginning. I think its very possible a few of the cities would have enough of a player policed environment and could be really fun gameplay.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

there are other ways to bring players into NPC cities without guards such as; -buffs from music and food/drinks in the Inn and other players -lore quests -unbreakable banks -town crier NPC -unique town vendors

Why we don´t need a flagging system

remove the gear you spawn with, leave the mats on the vendors for now, lets experiment for a day or two. The real downside I can think of with no flagging/guards is once you can build your own town with walls, I think it's most likely that towns would be deserted. Which is not what anyone wants.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

You still have the ability to build your own towns with walls n vendors n everything though. That's like 99% chance not changing in MO2.

Why we don´t need a flagging system

Asheron's Call had no flagging system on the pvp server. It worked great. Keep in mind it would be very annoying with the MO1 thievery system. But I would like to experiment with this in MO more. It worked for AC it possibly could work for MO2. There could be some interesting beneficial effects...

Should Mortal Online 2 Have "Siege Windows"?

I like this boulder pile idea a lot but I think it could also work well with the 12 hour night watch guard idea.

Should Mortal Online 2 Have "Siege Windows"?

sry I updated my idea with a key point that they all go to sleep at the same time. So ya it could work like a puzzle if you set your guard posts right. But more or less it's just a siege window idea. The particulars of how effective/difficult it would be to siege during the guard time could be...

Should Mortal Online 2 Have "Siege Windows"?

should do it with guards IMO. Set guard posts, set time when guards go on duty, every 12 hours they go to sleep. (all guards go to sleep at same time, they would basically be the night watch)

    The Game isn't Ready [Poll]

I dont get why housing at least wouldn't be in relatively soon...I mean why can't they just pop in MO1 housing with updated graphics?

    The Game isn't Ready [Poll]

it does feel early for the game. BUT, they are adding stuff real fast. We'll see, but I'm an optimist I think they will surprise many with how fast they plop in major systems in the coming weeks.

    The Game isn't Ready [Poll]

not sure what you dont understand about we could go through a month of persistent gameplay then get a wipe. Cause he did mention a wipe in Jan, so what would there be to wipe if we weren't playing a persistent version?
