Save your breath and blood pressure. Tzone and Oneshot(?) are notorious anti-mages. One of them has repeatedly been proven wrong and toxic. Focus on the more contributing comments.

Is it meta? Definitely no. Is it viable? Yes, but difficult. I run a fat Oghmir mage on foot (in fights). Life has its problems, but you learn to live with it or circumvent it.
