    The question is moot because if the game removed those things I wouldn't be devoting the time to play it properly, sure I could live without home priest but if I have to travel the map naked to get back to town everytime I died...sorry I just don't have that kind of time as I'm sure many others...

    Not to mention that when Auction Houses are in game, travelling merchants will be prominent and people won't be home priesting as much because they can buy those books for an increased amount.

    Some good ideas here but SV went this way to force players to have to make the hard decisions of what they want to be and to try to prevent players from having "log out farmers" in dungeons etc. Anything that allows more builds will take away from players interaction which is one of the things...

    In a perfect world games wouldn't have bugs but they do and probably always will, the home priest mechanic isn't based around this, it was implemented as a convenience QoL change. If you live in Meduli and die in GK I would estimate (not tested) close to an hour of ghosting to get home, longer...

    Taking away home/nearest priest would be terrible for anyone that doesn't want to spend hours ghosting the map when they die, if you are an MO player you will know that death comes in many forms and not all of them are intended, so to die from a bug is bad enough but to then spend precious time...

    Alvarin give up a lot to be able to run fast, i dont think he means running in a straight line. There should still be more of a noticeable difference in speed, it takes too much stam to close a gap or get away and then they catch you anyway because of the stam difference.
