    New shaders and rendering won't fix level design - will be cool to see the engine in a huge outdoor environment though! From what I've understood is that the Naanite tech of UE5 is auto-generating LODs in a bit of a different way and replacing the classic LOD0, LOD1, LOD2 way of doing things.

    Yes, they introduced /droploot but in a situation where you want to yield AND the other has to know if you yielded INSTANTLY this was not sufficient at all. /droploot had a delay and no visual feedback sadly

    It tried to express it as a careful guess - if the starter-armor is not what you would typically see on the battlefield then my guess is completely off, of course. Is the combat alpha done with completely unrealistic gear then or is the gear something one would typically see on the battlefield?

    Only watched videos of a teamfight and some duels and even though swing speed did look a bit slow from first person it also felt like the "time to kill" was really more due to weapons dealing super low amounts of damage. If parrying was made easier then the penalty for not parrying correctly...

    I agree, but you could limit profession changing in other ways - for example give a cooldown of 7 days on a skill-point reset and make it cost gold.

    Or do it like any other first person game - implement mouse-wheel toggle or number-press toggle for the stuff in your hands, make bandages a handheld item and hold mouse to use. Like Left4Dead and Warhammer Vermintide 2 did it for instance. I think you could also use on yourself or an ally...
