Clades without nightvission kinda struggle in dark caves in my experience as a noob.
Simply being able to hold a torch in the off hand would be awesome!
Now you would be able to use it as a shield or weapon but it beats running around in the dark.
This also wouldnt degrade the alvarin night vision as they would have the advantage of being able to see in the dark whilst still wielding a bow or two handed weapon.
