While I appreciate the hardcoreness of running around with an expensive deed to find a spot to live, I feel like that is a little too much given that placement of houses on landscape can be so... finicky? Maybe I see a killer spot that a house/SH could really add to the game aesthetically as well as be a home. Expensive deeds make this possibility less possible, especially for solos (a lot of whom dig the having a home RP part). Could we get a survey tool that we can click and it can spawn a fake of whatever you want to place so we can see if it fits. The challenge then still remains to get the deed out to that spot and build it, but it makes finding a spot have a lot more options since you're not carrying around the deed just to FIND the spot. I~unno... perhaps I'm too carebear, but I would love to be able to survey where I could build a home before buying the deed and running out there with it.
