Please Make axes the same speed as greatblades

How the hell is a two handed Axe which is a piece of wood with a scrap of metal at the end slower and weighs more than a two handed sword which is fully made of metal.. Not only is it not realistic, it makes axes not viable for duels. The axe is already harder to use because of the smaller hitbox, it should be as fast as the great blade.

it is a bad idea for anyone that does not use axes, as it does not benefit them in any way, correct.

Have you ever used an axe compared to a sword irl? It's about the weight distribution. They are slower and harder to maneuver. I do agree there should be a change in axe though. Perhaps a damage going through parry or a bit more damage overall. Or what I would actually suggest is sword should do less blunt damage. It does way to much at the moment and it's damage is to much for how easy it is to use because it's fast and easy to not get a handle hit.

Axes should have a slightly longer windup but actually have a faster swing speed than swords if we follow realism. Also should have a slightly longer cooldown after a swing until you can swing againsince that fatigue is very noticeable irl with 2h axe vs 2h sword.
