PLEASE ADD MORE TO THE "ARCHER CLASS" it doesn't feel like a complete class! Suggestions down below!

Currently with the current system "HeadShot" is truly the only other Primary Besides "Archery" that a player needs to be a complete archer. Headshot is also more reliable with PVE against big Monsters it's a must. In PVP if you miss aiming for the head chances are 2 Torso Shots did a hell of a lot more damage then the 2 arrows you missed before landing a shot on the head.


For "Foot Fighter" you have lots of different skills and weapons and heavy armor you can choose from to spend your points.

"Mages" in the future can choose between different schools or branch out into all the Taming primaries to make a Beast Master Class.


A "Archer" on the other hand doesn't feel like a complete class. Any Foot Fighter can add archery to their build for 100 points. And the only other element is how much strength your character has to determine what bows it can use.


"Mounted Archers" spend a lot of points into riding and other stuff that isn't actually Archery. I look to it more as a add on to the Archer Class but it has some major Pros and Cons. It's the best class for PVE everyone knows that. For PVP it's great vs a Foot Fighter. That's where the problems begin, a Foot Fighter can also have archery deal more damage to you and your only advantage is trying to use movement to deal damage an run away an come back for another sneak attack hoping they didn't rest of bandage up that damage you did to them.



Suggestions: Add some other Primary Skills for Archers who want to be a complete archer: Let's go over a few i came up with :)

1.) Ballistics: A Primary Skill that is required before a player can use Hand Cannons/Crossbows or anything listed down below. Also Adds +10 Shrapnel Damage to cannon fire/Heavy Crossbow or Light Ballista to enemies 5 feet near you. Making Archer farming much better.

2.) Reload: A Primary that will auto load your next quiver of arrows, as well as reducing the time before you can fire your next shot.

3.) Heavy Quiver: A Primary that requires reload: It adds +10 damage to all archery skills

2.) Hand Cannon: Longest Reload 3 seconds, Strongest Burst damage ranged weapon in game. 100 damage (125 for head shots) with 100 stamina usage for each shot Comes with Gunpowder Cannons which have strong synergy with Oil Arrows/Bolts and Fire Arrows and Bolts for the explosion effect. Has Access to Oil Cannon Balls and Fire Cannon Balls. Weapon can be mounted onto a Heavy Cannon if player owns a Ship or Castle for added damage to those cannons. If Player has the
Primary Skill Amputated, then cannon balls explode off enemy arms and legs disabling the use of shields, weapons, or movement depending on appendage hit.

3.) Heavy Crossbow: Stronger then the standard crossbow, stronger then a Longbow and adds the option to use Grappling Hooks as ammunition. Grappling Hooks can be used to climb castles/Houses/Keeps/Buildings. Good for Thief classes. Grappling Hooks can also tie up a opponents feet.

4.) Repeater Cross Bow: Fastest Crossbow in game with weakest initial damage but comes with some tricks. Fires fastest in game, unloads 25 arrows from quiver in 3 seconds, Deals 1 damage per a arrow/bolt to torso,Legs,Arms, Deals 2 damage per shot to the head. Can be used with Oil Arrows/Bolts and Fire Arrows/bolts, Stronger materials used during crafting add +1 additional damage. Can customize Bolt Quiver to add Poison Bolts and Fire Bolts and Oil Bolts mixed into the firing sequence.

5.) Light Ballista: Fires Spiral Heavy Bolts that drill into enemies. Enemies hit can be pinned into walls/Trees or other objects. Stronger then Heavy Crossbow, Stronger then Longbow.


6.) Elemental Arrows/Bolts: A Primary skill needed before someone can level up Ice,Fire,Oil,Poison,Lightning/Toxic Arrows/Bolts.

7.) Ice Arrows/Bolts Adds the Hypothermia Debuff Slowing enemy walk/Run speed by 30%. After 7 shots adds the FreezeBurn effect, increasing slow to 40% and adding 20 damage on every 7th hit. After 7 more shots adds the Frostbite effect Disarming player for 10 seconds, lowering their damage for 25 seconds, After 7 more attacks adds Frozen effect Freezing the enemy in place unable to move for 10 seconds. If all shots land on the head, also adds BrainFreeze effect: Slowing enemy spellcast by 25%. Note: Debuff progression for all other bows/crossbows is +2 additional arrows rather then 7. The 7 arrow idea above is designed to cycle through 2 quivers of Repeater Crossbow bolts for rough idea of game balance.

8.) Fire Arrows/Bolts adds +10 additional damage, adds a additional +1 stacking damage every hit to targets who are already effected by Oil Arrows (Can be used with repeater Crossbow) ;)

9.) Oil Arrows/Bolts adds the Slip and Slide Debuff to enemies making enemies move +10% slower with a chance to fall every 5 seconds enemies with lv100 balance have a 25% chance to ignore this effect. Adds the Enflamed Debuff to Fire Arrows/Bolts enemies take a burst of 5 additional damage every 6 seconds. Adds the Gunpowder Debuff to enemies: Enemies hit by Hand Cannon explode taking 30 additional damage.

10.) Poison Arrows/Bolts Usable with all bows and crossbows. Adds a Damage over time effect +8 Poison damage every 3 seconds for 20 seconds. Damage ticks cannot interrupt mages spell casting, Otherwise Corruption Spell with Poison Arrows completely Negs Mages lol

11.) Toxic Arrows, Only able to be used after a target is already poisoned. Adds a additional +12 poison damage every 3 seconds and brings the duration up to 30 seconds. Lowers Targets Stamina by 25 every 3 seconds as well. Can only be used by Mounted Archers. Targets cannot bandage, Rest, Heal, or Greater heal during this duration, can only be cured with Toxic Antidote Potion, Purify will not remove this effect. ( Finally A Great reason to play MA other then PVE, and a way to balance foot fighters vs Mounted Archers separating the classes ensuring more primary points into Ma makes you a more effective archer rather then one that relies on enemy opponent foot fighter archer sucking and missing attacks)

11.)High End Gold Sink PVP Arrows: Lightning Arrows: (New Crafting Station: Lightning Rod fletching station:) Allows one to craft lightning arrows during Thunderstorm Weather. Lightning arrows deal +20 Burst damage, Paralyze a Opponent for 5 seconds, and deal a Damage over time effect called electric current which deals 10 damage every 3 seconds for 20 seconds. Requires ALL archery skills to use and cannot use other Elemental Arrows except Poison. Note: Crafting station can make every color of lightning into a arrow. Blue/Purple/Green/Red ect. Each with additional effects Blue is the standard effect with the rest adding more effects on top of that.

12.) Snipe Shot: Usable with Longbows and Heavy Crossbow: Deals 200% extra damage and increases range of archery attacks by double range. Requires Heavy Quiver, Reload, and Double shot.

13.) Double Shot: Usable with Longbows and Heavy Crossbow only, requires Heavy Quiver and reload, can use during Snipe Shot.

14.) Tri Shot: Usable with all bows except longbow. Adds a small chance to stun as well as a chance to bleed, requires reload, can't use heavy quiver.

15.) Quad Shot: Fires 4 arrows but uses up your entire quiver, Only usable with Shortbows, requires reload can't use heavy quiver.



Ideas for tomorrow: Duel Crossbow, (Effectively firing 2 Bolts of the normal crossbow in each hand but not as fast as the repeater crossbow,) Normal Crossbow (Not as strong as heavy crossbow can fire faster and less stamina usage, can use a shield even a tower shield with the weapon, weaker then Longbow)



TOWER SHIELD: A Shield that Covers the body from Head to Toe, covers the complete back when riding.
