Looking for graphics card recommendations

I am soon upgrading to 32 GB RAM and a new graphics card to play more smoothly--I'm curious as to what I might need in terms of a GPU to run the game consistently at 60fps on high settings with a 1920x1080 display (not 4k). I was looking at GPUs and was wondering if an RTX 3060 12GB card would suffice, or if I should be looking at something beyond that price.

Please let me know your suggestions! I am trying not to overextend and purchase an unreasonably expensive GPU in the current market, and this is the only game I play with requirements beyond the processor I already have.

Thank you kindly in advance,

GPU market is actually quite good now. My friend just got a 3080.I'm a believer in getting top end so that it stays good for years to come. I'm still using a 1080ti and it still runs amazing on pretty much every game at 1440p, several years after it came out. A 3060 will run ok but you wont get as much time out of it before you want to upgrade again. I advise good brand like EVGA or Sapphire regardless of what you get. Paying a bit more is worth it, especially when it randomly dies and support actually replaces it. Which I've had happen before.

Because you are 1080p 3060 will be fine. User benchmark says my 1080ti is 40% better than a 3060. Which is the difference between runs great and runs eh. BUT I'm 1440p. 1080p is noticeably easier to run, so you should be fine. also I like 100+ fps. but this is why I say the $$$$ cards last so much longer. My card is 5 years old and it still dunks on 3060.

TLDR 3060 will be fine for 1080 @ 60fps. But if you go 1440p or want 144fps you may be disappointed.
