Kill board and active map needed (maybe)

Great game! I have 2 minor suggestions for you.

1. Being that this is a PvP game I think we need a killboard like Eve Online. This allows to track stats such as k/d ratio as well as see who killed you and what you lost. This will be a good measuring stick of who is the best PvP guild / player in the game backed up by stats that match it. Kind of like what they have in eve online per the below:

The KB above tracks kills/deaths and the total cost of what was lost/dropped.

2. Active map (maybe).

An active map that tracks/updates kills / deaths might be a good thing to have. This would allow for safer travel but could also affect PvP and provide a lack of targets. I am torn on this. But currently there is a map that allows you to submit kills but it doesn't actively track non-submitted PvP kills/deaths per my knowledge,

These are 2 minor suggestions that would enhance a great PvP game. Please let me know your thoughts.

Yea no to map for me. I like the immersion of the game. The '/stats' stuff for MO1 was enough. Still kind of gamey but I don't think it really affected gameplay. I, too, am a bit sour on out of game/distant coms (altho it's inevitable.) Think of how much better the game would be if you had to actually find people and talk to them. I'm old skool tho. The 'hardcore' elements that MO had that they either couldn't implemented and pretended were hardcore or actually left to be hardcore like... no in game map, no party system... but then you have HELP CHAT and GUILD CHAT and WHISPER. It's tough. But for me the less of these things the better, but as the game progresses I wouldn't mind leaderboards like they had in 1. I like to be immortalized!! :D Nah, but it's intriguing. I see it more as history tho, opposed to something active as you are proposing.

Dudes don't need stats to tell who the best pvp guilds are, watch vids and listen to the coms that people say "oh shit it's..." when they come in. haha.

Killboards in EVE created more problems then they fixed in my opinion. As a solo/small gang pvper in that game I can personally attest to the negative psychology players had about maybe taking a fight that might mess up their killboard stats. The highest stats belonged to big alliance F1 blobbers and not people who were actually good at pvp. It’s a solution looking for a problem and I personally hope I never play another pvp mmo that has a killboard system like EVE.
