Is it possible to solo a troll?

Just wondering whether it is feasible at all to solo a troll.
Also what kind of armour strength would one need and what kind of weapon and tactics?

yes, MA or MM - you can go naked against jungle or snow troll

just bring coffee, it won't be entertaining
