I thought SV said Help Chat would switch off once you left Haven, to stop it being used as global. They were always keen that chat was only local (apart from the magic Discord of course). Did they change that and make Help Chat permanent?

I think I remember hearing Henrik say they wanted help chat to be around for a while longer or else all the new players wouldn't get any help except from other new players and that wouldn't help much. Of course at the time he said they were looking into options so I guess just leaving it as is for the time being is what they decided.
The other issue is that even if you turn off help chat it turns its self back on when you switch instances.
Mightve been better if they had a Q/A structure like new players can submit a question and willing players can answer them
