An update to the thread I began in February 2015. Some cool stuff actually made it in game. Lovely.

List and updates:

  1. Poison system finished - make eating the wrong food harsh and last longer, make eating REALLY wrong foods very lethal. Expand poison system to arrows, vials, and blade tips with combine. Partially confirmed not implemented
  2. Clothing - culturally appropriate clothing for all races and genders, particularly for non-combat activities. Confirmed not implemented
  3. Weather System finished- make snowstorms occur in the North, sandstorms in the west, typhoons in the jungle, that slow stamina regen and drain health over time unless properly clothed. Make earthquakes every few weeks that damage all structures and wildfires that burn in dense forests, lightning that has a chance strike to hit people in metal during thunderstorms. Confirmed not implemented
  4. Repairs and Salvaging - high level crafters can utilize materials to repair and with skill point investment can salvage. Salvaging implemented
  5. Molvas Knockdown - Allow molvas of a certain size and strength to have a chance to knockdown riders of Lykiators and horses.
  6. Capturing - Allow capturing of players and introduce torture devices.
  7. Close Quarters Combat - Expand options for unarmed and small arm fighting techniques.
  8. Furniture, Cosmetics, Art -Player made, we need it. Implemented
  9. Disease- introduce diseases that spread with player and NPC contact, and introduce cures in the form of herbal and alchemical remedies.
  10. Mount drawn carts for carrying passengers and cargo. Confirmed not implemented
  11. Engineering- Engineers should be able to create their own blueprints with enough skill and having purchased one, and copied it into their journal.
  12. Animations - total overhaul which includes tea-bagging, sex, dancing
  13. Fire System - Make all fires in the game REAL (campfires in Bakti, bonfires in Bakti and Vadda) fire arrows and torches ignite wooden structures. Fire burns people. fire implemented, burning not implemented
  14. Flagging overhaul- Everyone is grey in the wilderness, flags only apply to townships both player and NPC, with greater control for player townships of starting flag designation (I know you won't do this, but it really would be better) Partially implemented
  15. NPC audio dialogue, sound effects, animal noises, soundtrack, all of the above need love. Confirmed not implemented
  16. Rework stances - Seperate draw weapon from combat mode, turn aggressive stance and spear stance and defensive stance into actual stances effecting movement speed. This allows for an open hand check rather than a stance check for activities.
  17. Gardening, farming, landscaping- freely within territory controlled. Active plots that require labor similar to mining.
  18. Siege camps
  19. Musical instruments
  20. Sleep - necessitate campfires, houses, inns for full reserves. Confirmed not implemented
  21. Reputation system - with each NPC faction Implemented
  22. More diverse NPCs and greater racial differences- Bring back the animist you bastards!


Stripping away the systems and changes already implemented, I'll start a new list with the outstanding items and some new things that would be fucking cool. Many things have been confirmed and are obvious like ships, not included here.


  1. Unique NPCs - Each NPC should have unique race specific name. Utility Vendor is a title, not a name.
  2. NPCs have idle activities. Sweeping, stacking coin, cleaning a mug.
  3. NPCs have conversations and personalities - Region specific clothing
  4. Molvas Knockdown - Allow molvas of a certain size and strength to have a chance to knockdown riders of Lykiators and horses.
  5. Capturing - Allow capturing of players
  6. Torture devices - many
  7. Close Quarters Combat - Expand options for unarmed and small arm fighting techniques. Tackling, tripping, holds, kicking.
  8. Disease- introduce diseases that spread with player and NPC contact, and introduce cures in the form of herbal and alchemical remedies.
  9. Engineering- Engineers should be able to create their own blueprints with enough skill and having purchased or obtained one prior, in a journal like a spell book.
  10. More Animations/emotes - tea-bagging, sex, dancing, yoga, more prayer types, emotes that change or unlock with skills, ie. meditation changes resting to other forms.
  11. Rework stances - spear stance a toggled stances with spear or polaxe, reducing movement speed and doubling damage to mounts.
  12. Gardening, farming, landscaping- freely within territory controlled. Active plots that require labor similar to mining.
  13. Siege camps - a physical structure where engineers can freely create siege equipment and ammunition.
  14. Musical instruments
  15. Furniture, decorations, items, require more resource investment and player skill. We need use for the endless amount of stuff in game other than vendor trash. Expand to include player art, use dying system, inks.
  16. Make the "Trophy" item a product of skinning to encourage skinning without hurting butchery.
  17. Giant anacondas that swallow players, crocodiles that break bones, special attacks for creatures. Creatures attacking each other. I want to stumble upon a giant anaconda swallowing a Sator in the jungle.
  18. Injury - until bandage, rest, sleep, heal pot, etc.
  19. Breeding requires mounts online and in game.
  20. Bandage other players -
  21. Enchanting system - No soul bound loot, enchant items with properties. Make high level enchantment very rare and difficult to obtain, like high tier rings and amulets were.
  22. Animal Grazing- Set your creature to eat food in the environment nearby. Horse eat foliage, Carnivorous creatures could hunt and kill nearby animals within a radius when hungry. Nearby water or troughs could be added to stables.
  23. Rotting food - raw food and foods not prepared with preservatives rot. Glass jars and preservatives will create food that will not rot.
