Is there something that can be done?

Happens when:
- Person / item loads in view in specific areas (like Morin Khur passage);
- When unmounting (near Meduli);

Tried:
- Validating steam files;
- Lowering texture quality to low;
- Setting FPS to Uncapped;
- Set language to English in both ingame and Steam;

Specs:
CPU / AMD Ryzen 9 3950X
GPU / Nvidia RTX 3080/ Driver version 466.27;
RAM / 32GB

Maybe there's logs or smth?

Sounds like GPU driver problems. APPCRASH? Kernel system hang?

Check the reliability history tool if you are on windows 10.

No, just game hangs. Not a crash, got nothing in windows logs.
Had to terminate game manually via task manager.

Also, if that would be a driver crash - it would've disabled my second monitor / discord stream etc.

Not necessarily. My GPU can get really unstable due to the crappy factory overclock being way too high. Ends up crashing games sometimes, everything else runs just fine. The reason thats even a problem for me is the damn AMD software keep resetting the custom clocks i have set it in that do work every now and then on hardboot.

Didn't had issues with other games other than MO though (like CP2077 or demanding alike);
There's a new version of the driver, need to test it out.

Edit: Also I'm on Nvidia, add CPU / GPU specs to the main post;

I've had this issue a couple times as well. There is some sort of infinite read/write to memory loop being triggered. If you get this ALT-F4 or end the process asap.

So far stable on 466.47 driver. Need to do more testing though, perhaps its not the cause.

Spoke too soon, still happens from time to time.
No idea what's causing it other than some weird loading glitch.

I was having random hard reboots while playing MO2 for no apparent reason. This was before I recently upgraded to 32gb ram, and now no crashes or hangs whatsoever.

Not saying that it might be due to insufficient ram, just saying that it was what fixed it for me.

Well, I already have 32 gb, game doesn't seems to go above 16gb anyway.
