I would like to suggest a simple but very useful navigation feature: custom distance markers on the world map.
Right now, quest objectives can show the remaining distance in kilometers, which makes navigation much easier. It would be great if players could place their own personal markers on the map and see the remaining distance to them in the same way.
For example, a player could mark a cave, a bandit camp, a resource spot, a hidden stash, a home location, or any other important place. The marker could then appear on the compass or world UI with a distance indicator like: “Hidden Cave — 5.8 km”.
This would not make the game easier in a bad way. It would simply improve navigation, planning, exploration, trading routes, and group coordination. Players would still need to discover places themselves, but once they know a location, they could mark it properly.

Possible features:
- Custom player-created map markers.
- Marker names written by the player.
- Distance shown in kilometers, just like quest objectives.
- Different marker types or icons: home, danger, resource, dungeon, treasure, etc.
- Optional visibility on the compass or HUD.
