Bug: Auction house, Stable and in game chat suddenly not working.

Apologies if this is the wrong section but I don't see a bug report subsection in the forum anymore.
Out of nowhere stable, auction house and in game chat suddenly stopped working, I logged a ticket in game and through the website ticket system but I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this, google didn't yield any results for mo2 and was hoping a wise soul in here would know how to fix it until support gets back to me.

I can send messages and receive, combat and skill chat messages but cannot see or hear anyone else talk in game, or load auction house or stable NPC listings, so pretty much bricked until it's fixed.

On discord one of the devs posted that a "backend server is currently down" and that caused all these issues.

So they know about it but no eta on a fix/reboot/or whatever.

oh, I assumed it was just me, I suppose it's good to know that the issue is known, not so good that it's affecting others
