I would like to request a Bonded Pets system, similar to what we have in Ultima Online (with some adaptations). My idea would be:
Rule 1: If you manage to level up a pet to level 125, it becomes spiritually bonded. Whenever it dies, it becomes a spirit that can be resurrected by Spiritism. Bonded pets do not leave carcasses when they die for obvious reasons.
Rule 2: The spirit continues to follow its owner and can be seen using the Transcendental Awareness spell. It will continue to consume pet points even in spirit form. You can abandon it by pressing P and clicking on abandon in the same way as in the living state. If you don't have Spiritism, a friend can resurrect your pet for you.
Rule 3: Some species of creatures cannot establish a spiritual bond with players, such as Tagmatons.
Rule 4: Once resurrected, they can only return to combat after a 900-second fatigue debuff ends. During this period, they still obey commands like "follow" and "wait", Animals under the effect of fatigue do not obey commands to attack or use abilities.(If the pet is still under the effect of the fatigue debuff after being resurrected, it cannot be placed in a stable nor can it be registered for sale.)
This would make the use of pets much more attractive, and using full spiritism to bring the pet back to life would make the tamer class more pet-focused, requiring more action points to be a complete tamer.
It's very annoying to level up pets from scratch every time they die; please consider this idea, or at least part of it, to make the game more fun.
