Not sure if anyone already gave feedback on that, but with skill changes for "Active" and "Profession", limit to only one character slot and to a degree also being on Steam only (which makes having multiple accounts even harder), makes Zoology being under Profession very problematic for a decent build making.

Zoology

Let's take for example two builds from MO1, one being a Fighter/Tamer and other being a Weaponcrafter. Tamer needs Zoology skill to make it work, while with Weaponcrafter you barely have enough skills to make a decent specialized crafter that doesn't use Zoology.

The same example combination doesn't work in MO2, you have to cut skills from your Profession to fit Zoology. To make things worst, being a Fighter you usualy don't care about Intelligence, which means you'll automatically have less Profession skills, since they are mostly Int based.

The above example is not the only one, just the most obvious one. As a matter of fact most crafting builds don't need Zoology, while it's mostly needed (or at least helpful) for adventuring. So by that logic it should be under "Active" skills, even tho it isn't active. That way really only a Butcher profession would be affected, but since Butchery is a secondary skill it's a decent tradeoff. I do think it should stay as a Primary skill (well the sub-skills as it is now), since that creates a nice posibilities of specalized characters.

Intelligence

And as last issue with that "dual system" is Intelligence being a primary attribute for all the crafting skills. This severily limits any figher builds since you don't gain any bonus to skills from Int. Under normal circumstances that wouldn't be a problem, but being limited to one character, this system doesn't work as well as the old one did.

I think that could be fixed to some degree if most professions would get at least a secondary attribute bonus to them (now if there is a secondary it's mostly Psy, and most of skills don't even have secondary). As an example, a Weaponcrafter has to have knowledge (primary Int) abut also be strong to smith those weapons (secondary Str).
