Looking past the fact that miss penalty, in general, is a shit mechanic and missing hits could be penalized without locking players out of gameplay.
The fact that 1h weapons have the exact same miss penalty with a gigantic tower shield and without a shield at all is terrible.
Sure, no shield 1h miss penalty is fine cause it gives benefits to 1 handers (which already are super strong but that's a different discussion). So on top of being super good and having basically no miss penalty, you can now equip a 6kg steel tower shield and still have a nonexistent miss penalty?
This is super obvious and needs to be changed.
And as everyone already expected as soon as tower shields got announced, they are cheesy garbage that is completely broken, something we slowly but surely are getting more and more of into the game just like MO1.
