    Presets In Character Creation

The Elder Scrolls II Daggerfall did it best when it came to offering an abundant selection of pre-made classes along with the option of custom class. https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Classes_(Daggerfall) Granted, some of those classes might be a bit redundant or downright outlandish. MO2...

    Fab needs 2nd bank

I was thinking the exact thing as the OP the other day. Widening the bank entrance alone is just not going to cut it this time. Another bank building is definitely going to be needed. Unless SV wants frustrated bank users lining up outside. Even without the stress test, today I found the bank...

Sing a Song for Viknus, or you will die !

Just a reminder that Lord of the Rings Online back in 2007 had a feature that allowed players to play their own tunes on medieval instruments in-game using the keyboard. So I don't want to hear any excuses from SV that it can't be done! 🙂

    Night Duration

Not to mention that the night is the best time to travel and do any sort of activity that would be much more hazardous during the day for obvious reasons.

Game Guide Videos for Mortal Online 2

One of the questions new players often ask when they start playing Mortal Online 2 is, "What is there to do in this game?" In a sandbox MMORPG, that question can best be answered by asking the player what they would like to do, what they can bring to the table, and what other players may need or...

    Mortal Online 2 for Console

MO2 has like 40 hotbar keys and another 10 for UI and actions. Not sure how that would work on a console. And I definitely would be against any dumbing down of the game if that were to happen.

Me and my friends like the game. But paying monthly fees is unrealistic.

Perhaps SV should consider the implementation of sub tokens, an idea that was floated about several times back in MO1. Basically an in-game item like EVE Online's PLEX that can be traded and carried around by the player. That way, players who find it less costly to buy sub time will be able to...

Me and my friends like the game. But paying monthly fees is unrealistic.

I read somewhere a while back that in mmorpgs with micro-transactions people actually end up paying exponentially more by choice, not arbitrarily. The entire cash shop is designed in such a way that it encourages them to spend much more than they would in a traditional monthly sub model. It has...

    Delay Release

Wow that didn't take long. Good, SV you've got quite a bit more leeway to make this the best launch ever.

    Delay Release

Let's see what they manage to pump out between now and 26 October. Me personally, I'm tired of waiting, went through three missed launch dates since end of last year. Having said that, if SV deems it best to delay the launch one last time then I'm willing to wait a little longer. All the same...

    Server Wipe Question

I would play it now and learn as much as possible rather than wait till persistence, when everyone will be in a mad rush to consolidate their position and carve out their corner of the game world. I would want to be doing the same than being clueless and having to figure everything out then.

    Fluff stuff?

@Biaxil Star Vault did show on their development roadmap that roleplaying features are in the works, presumably that's what you're referring to? Link to roadmap: https://www.mortalonline2.com/beta/#roadmap In other areas, roleplaying can be had in a myriad of ways. I have posted the following...

New players are getting confused about how to leave Haven.

Henrik should magically appear in front of every new player when they ask how to leave Haven on help chat, and teleport them from way up in the sky and let them freefall into the town they want to go. If the player has a horse, make it immune to damage from the fall. That way the new player...

New players are getting confused about how to leave Haven.

The Haven exit definitely needs a better explanation. Maybe a flashing icon at the side of the player's name plate that, when clicked on, activates a mist trail that leads the player to the statues. Put a text in the initial tutorial window that explains this so that players know very early on...

I tried to enjoy MO2 REALLY HARD, but I failed...

I do think the game needs to be fleshed out, and that quick badly, because I remember SV saying somewhere a while back that they intend to make every plant and natural object in the game world gatherable. So far, only a small portion of that can be gathered. The world as it is right now feels...

Things To Make Game More Realistic.

I do agree that the weapon contact feels very lacklustre, it looks like I'm tapping or gliding my weapon across whatever it is I'm hitting. It feels even worse when it's a handle hit. MO1 had better weapon contact animation, it felt more meaty and impactful.

    Forming market price for materials

How long it took to gather the material, distance involved in transporting it back to town, skills required to extract or refine, how much was paid to bodyguards, and the level of risk encountered. There will likely be a base price for everything, then depending on the seller and how much the...

What's the difference? MO with new graphics?

I think SV has plenty of time to add another two or three mega patches before 26 October, recent history going back one year has shown that they can and have delivered. As the roadmap shows, there is more of everything planned. I would say that the issue isn't going to be lack of content or new...

What's the difference? MO with new graphics?

In some ways, it is similar to MO1 but it has enough to make it it's own beast. The character and account systems alone as @Najwalaylah said, is very different to the first game.

Game Guide Videos for Mortal Online 2

The world of Mortal Online 2 is, to put it mildly, a harsh and unforgiving place. Newcomers often find themselves being extremely vulnerable to a myriad of dangers at every turn, and the sting of every death and loss is painfully felt. Thankfully, there are a number of basic precautions that...
