The new guys are figuring it out, just a matter of time. New player Perspective

According to this source (See point number 4): https://www.metmuseum.org/toah/hd/aams/hd_aams.htm It would appear that plate armour was actually quite flexible and allowed the wearer great degree of mobility and movement, though not allowing them to sprint for very long due to its weight. At...

    Unreal Engine 5 ?

Just watched this video comparing UE5 to UE4, generally speaking I think both look very impressive though UE5 looks to be superior in that it is far more granular and lifelike.

    Unreal Engine 5 ?

Mortal Online 2 stands out from the crowd and turns heads once again. I wonder how the game will look in UE5. UE4 is already incredibly advanced and powerful, one can only imagine what UE5 will bring.

    One-handed spears

I was told that one-handed spears are possible in the game but there doesn't appear to be any option to craft it at the weapon crafting table. I believe I have all the skills necessary to do so, however in the crafting menu it only shows spears followed by all the different long handles and...

Populate Shallow Graves with despawned loot bags

Maybe add grave robbers and scavengers who go around picking up loot in loot bags around the graveyard and random places that haven't been looted after a certain amount of time. Maybe one minute before the loot bag despawns. Make the timer long enough so that players who died can have enough...

Bloodstains on Statues for Gaul'kor and Kranesh

This suggestion actually came from one of my viewers, who observed in a video I made that a player in help chat complained that they had no idea that Gaul'kor and Kranesh were lawless. When they went there, they were promptly killed, presumably by a pk waiting in town. The viewer suggested that...

Great game so far, just a few suggestions.

@Pepecovfefe The new player experience I can understand, though having seen the latest tutorial I think it's pretty detailed as it is. Is there anything specific that you feel could be improved? I think there is a portal spell in Spiritism that allows players to teleport to another location on...

    Advertising the game

There's been quite a number of Youtube videos popping up in the past several months or so, with content creators promoting the game and giving personal opinions on what they liked and didn't like. On top of that, there has been a slew of community-made guides and pvp videos that showcase the...

What graphics were used in the mortal online game?

Mortal Online 1 used Unreal Engine 3. Mortal Online 2 uses Unreal Engine 4.

    A Wet-Eared Bandit gets Existential

I liked the part where you sped up the music as the bandit approached. It gave a slight comical touch to it but kept it serious at the same time. One constructive suggestion I have is if you could move the text to the bottom so it is less distracting. Also, you could add an opaque background...

    A Profound Experience

There's an interesting history video about the humble beginnings of mmorpgs, from primitive text-based to full 3D rendered environments. Older mmorpg players would likely recognise many of the titles mentioned.

    A Profound Experience

Welcome to the game, and yes the forest is actually a proper one. I got lost in there once, and didn't mind because I enjoyed walking through it that much.

I don't think you understand. I meant less visible, as in, if someone were to ride past the player standing in the shadow they would be less noticeable compared to not having shadows on. The player in the shadow could still be seen if the player riding past looked carefully or went closer.

I would say the game doesn't need a 3090 to run well, not even close. I had a GTX 1660 Super that ran the game on high settings at 50-60 fps. If I were to drop it down to medium I'd get 70 fps easily. Even my ancient GTX 1060 mobile variant from 2016 ran the game well at medium settings. If...

    Graveyard PvP

The graveyard is a microcosm of what the new player will inevitably face out there in the vast wilderness where no one will hear them scream if they were to encounter player bandits. In many respects, it will be far more punishing and harsh out in the wilderness compared to the graveyard where...

I think the screenshots provided by the OP it is clear that there is a vast difference in visibility if someone were to stand at the base of the tall alpine tree that casts a broad shadow, the screenshot without shadows would instantly make the player readily visible compared to the one with...

    Cooking question

The crafting system is way more restrictive and narrow in MO2 compared to MO1. Can't even feed soup or flowers to horses. At least make it so that they will not like the food or refuse to eat it if it isn't the right food. But at least allow us to feed it to them. I remember back in MO1 we...

Seems to me the fact that you can turn off shadows in the ini file can be seen as game-breaking, given the vast differences in visibility. Someone with shadows on and trying to hide in the shadows would be easily spotted by another player with shadows off. In the end, it might make everyone...
