Nah this is supposed to be a player driven game, shouldn't have NPCs play the game for you. Its not that hard to fight 3 people when you have 20 in town.

You could do things like have a trigger for learning a insulting emote specific to each region by going to the inns and waiting there while drinking a beer or something.

Mages wear the shield on our backs and it blocks hits that hit the shield. You can look down and they can only hit your legs if you face away from other players.

For a mage yes, for a fighter no, it uses too much stamina compared to with out a shield when you attack. A good amount of people still use them but it really just holds people back when they get more skill full in the game.

It doesn't take 6 to kill a horse. The main issue with horses is that they can flee. You can solve that and allow them better armor. They need to trade some fleeing power for some staying power.

As a ex Foot Archer main, 112 longbow does 12-18 damage on a steel fighter and oghmir decreases that even more. On solarium its 22-28 minus 3 damage if they are ogmir with the clade gift. You can shoot horses with the same longbow on steel for about 50 damage.
