Wouldn't matter if there were more toons per account, people would still *gasp* pay more to get more accounts. Pay to win only applies if you are speaking of some in-game economic win condition. Doesn't matter how many characters you have, if you suck in a fight you will still lose it.

Exitlag staff helped me get it going, and it does seem to have worked! Also, as a side benefit my ping apparently has gone down from 130-140 to around 110!

Taming itself isn't what is broken, that would probably be easier for them to fix. Getting pets to follow is a major headache, I agree with T that bears ruin pvp, but this issue affects even the more basic attempt to bring horses to town for new guild mates. It really needs to be fixed soon.

Another reason that I don't want to use metal armor is that it takes so much metal and backing to make, I don't want to mine/farm that much, especially when fights are meh most of the time.

I understood that damage now scaled with momentum so that you do hardly any damage in second gear. It's only what I was told though, I dumped mc awhile ago for MA and MM as being far more effective.

Maybe instead of buffing mounted combat up to the level of mounted archer and mounted mage, SV should nerf MA and MM down to the level of MC. That would improve balance between foot/mounted as well.
