    Melee Counters to Mounts

I liked how mounted combat was before the breeding patch that brought on super horses. The early horses were viable but not invincible, and you had to make hard choices between speed, hp, manouverability, etc. No one horse had it all. Mounteds where useful but by no means op. then the breeding...

    Make PvP consensual

Also, while we are at it, can we please add an overpriced materials cash shop with a built in rng lottery for a bit of extra excitement when I pay for my cronite? That would be greaaaaat ....tks

Ok now ive got the game working may i ask some questions in regards to what to expect...

The new map for MO2 is somewhat similar to MO1 but bigger. If you have never played this game and need something for reference you can look up MO1 map for approximate town locations and stuff. MO1 never got the 13 schools of magic. There was ecumenical, necromancy, elemental, and Spiritism. I...

    Make skilling take longer

The issue with this is that you end up with a game like DF where the gap between new players and nubes is very large. Granted their skill cap was endless but I don’t want to have to skill up for years. a few months should be enough especially when you think that you might want to try different...

    Make skilling take longer

Well of course it’s too quick, you start with skills already maxed right now. Won’t be like that at launch. I wouldn’t make it any harder than in MO1. I feel they had a very good balance with skill levelling. Some were pretty easy but the higher ones ( mounted archery, heavy armor training...

Was one character per account a mistake?

You want to spend 1000$ a year to play MO on 4 accounts? Great, good for you. I’m sure a few other will do likewise, but it won’t be the majority of players. A 20$ sub is already a stumbling block for a lot of players. Double or triple that is just not sensible for most.

Was one character per account a mistake?

Finding a fight won’t be any harder than it was. It will still mostly be outside the guard zone of whichever towns are most populated, popular farming spots or sieges. Reinforcements will be harder to get, and I’m ok with that. Works much more in favour of those fighting on home turf. Not that...

Was one character per account a mistake?

I disagree. Having multiple characters just allowed way too many shenanigans. People with bad rep would be constantly re-rolling chars to hide behind new names. Could never tell who’s who. now re-rolling will be a pretty big deal with having to skill up again and transfer all your bank stuff...

    Long bow runing .

yea if you have high strength right now stamina usage for bows seems very low. not sure if that's intended or not, but hopefully it gets fixed.

    Magic

    1) you don't have to stand still to draw a bow. 2) the short bows take absolutely no stamina, they draw super quick (spell casting takes over 2 seconds), and you can hold a bow drawn as long as you want, while a spell you have 20 seconds before it expires. 3) you can wear heavy armor as an...

    Hybrid online.

i also agree with this. with how large the map is, and only one character, riding and mounted combat will be almost required. running around the map on foot is painfully slow. kind of what i was alluding to here. hybrid play (or paladin if you wish) will become a lot more appealing with the...

Also what’s up with losing mana when you miss a spell? Is this working as intended? This has to get fixed ASAP. It’s bad enough that you have to stand still and recast, losing mana for missed spells is a bit much.

    No thief in mortal ii

I agree with Aerson. I liked the fact that you could steal. Never did it myself very successfully but it added charm to the game. Made it unique. Also it’s very easy to not get stollen from if you know what you are doing.being able to look in peoples pockets is kind of cool. I hope they do...

Every Single Spell In Ecumenical School Is Useless.

In MO1 there was a skill called concentration which helped you not get interrupted by damage. Still, good mages can simply stay behind their warriors or los archers. I played a mage a lot and never had much problem with archers as long as I didn’t stand in one spot casting like a moron. you can...

Clade Gifts - My Next Spreadsheet Project

Personally I’m not a fan of these clades. If it was just one or 2 per race I’d be ok but I think there are too many, with too many combinations. I don’t trust SV to make them balanced or code them correctly. some combinations will turn out brokenly OP, everyone will have to re roll, SV will...

    Movement speed and casting spell

like all have stated above, being able to continuously kite while casting 40+ damage spells (or heals) that can’t be blocked or deminished would be way OP. a fighter uses stam for moving, blocking AND dealing damage. A mage can use it exclusively for kiting ( negating all incoming melee...

Discussion on MO2 skill pool separation (trade/combat)

I personally like it. Absolutely hated being forced to use a completely defenceless character to mine/craft. Made absolutely no sense to me. Couldn’t even have basic things like riding or bandaging. then there was the whole Boulder holders mechanic which was cancer. People logging “farming...

    Risar dungeon.

You just want to draw phallic designs that people can see from a distance at night 😉

    Incentivized player cooperation.

I really don’t think you need to incentivize people to band together. You learn very quickly cooperation as soon as you get priest camped by any red guild. It’s a pvp focused game. If you don’t band together you get slaughtered.

    Hybrid online.

True hybrids have less armor and take more damage but that also means cheaper lodeout. A very attractive option for people that like to PVp but don’t have all week to spend farming to pay for a full steel armor set. hybrids were much harder to play in MO1 because all the weapon swapping was...
