I have a feeling it will be less than a month before you check in 😉 but i agree with you. These queues are demented. Ive given up on waiting them out. If they restart the server when im around ill give it a try. Otherwise forget it.

I would say fomo. We know people are playing. Making gold. Stockpiling mats. Building houses. Forming their networks. Anyone coming in later will be at a disadvantage. Youll have to play catch up. Its not a fun thought.

There are easier ways to make it so people can delete their character. Like putting a delete character button below the log in button.

The biggest single “world” game to date, Planetside 2, can handle a max of 2k players on one single map. and here is Henrik thinking he can handle tens of thousands of players in his game which is 100 times more complex and detailed than Planetside 2.

Its not. At lowest population time you moghy get a 2k queue. Its still 12 hours wait. Nobody logs off.

Its either that or multiple servers. You simply cannot have tens of thousands of people one one node and expect it to work. It doesnt work. If it did one of the aaa companies would have done it already. Its not possible. Get over it and make multiple servers already.

Waiting in queue isnt even guaranteed because, if they do restart the server, you lose your spot and have to start over. the whole thing is absurd really. There is no point in palying until they fix server capacity.
