    I was the same exact way in 2009, wrote the same post pretty much lol. After playing it you just learn to love it. First person view is not something I remember hearing as a complaint why ppl quit. I mean you will prob quit, but it won't be cause of the first person view :)

    Its not a pointless shell of a game I shouldn't have said that, it's actaully really a fun standalone combat sim against tons of other players right now, so nothing about it is a "shell of a game"

    ya I think they were going for having a personal worker which can be fun in a lot of games, an npc that does the tedius stuff for you. But the implementation and how long it was allowed to stay in game was a mistake I think we can all agree with. I was actually really against it in the end...

    I voted 2k+ but I'm an optimist. Not sure how excited ppl really are to log into a meaningless shell of a game for stress test on server load. But mark my words this game will beat Darkfall's 10k+ at persistent launch. Maybe they go persistent tomorrow? Not sure how that would work so I doubt it.

    ya I mean you can still delete stuff though, it just takes a little longer. But it was a decent fix once they got all the quirks worked out of it. I did prefer at the time the dropping stuff on the ground idea though, as it's common in a lot of other games I play.

    I get that it would be a huge pain in big fights, but the thing I really don't like about deleting loot is you can go into someones TC, kill all their miners, delete everything, and leave.
