I'd need to see a screenshot or a clip, because MO people are nuts about lying haha. But I do feel the game went off the grid once Henrik became less accessible. He needs to come up and take responsibility for his game. He should come here if he wants it to be good. I know some people would troll, but he used to troll back.

THE OFFICIAL FORUMS is a joke. Reddit is dead. Steam is dead. There is some major stuff going on in discord (probably?) It's not OK.

Oh I agree 100% thats why I was curious if anyone here could confirm or point to the stream where this might have happened. Sounds plausible though...

No you don't it happened. CEO had a melt down live on twitch and said exactly what was posted.

man I like you, but you gotta work on your tone. Speaking of melt downs, you come in on some different shit all of the time. I know that you are probably agreeing with Kush and urging me to as well, but it sounds like you are talking shit.

That's crazy, if true, and mayhaps we need to work on healing the community divide. When was that?
I can imagine launch was stressful for him. After that? Things have gone well, considering. They were able to consistently trick people into coming back to the game (cough, like me.)

I'm not talking shit. The screenshots were posted in the official discord. I'm saying you don't need to be provided with proof. It happened and it doesn't matter if it did or didn't happen. Look at reality. Henrik has been radio silent since "reckoning". Discord is silent. Forums are silent. Steam is silent. Real player pop is 300 and below. SV and Henrik are constantly covering their ears telling players they are wrong. The feedback that we do give them seldom results in what we want. When they do implement a system we want, it's broken, over powered, or incomplete. Then it's off to the next VISION with full years before bugs and broken features are even discussed. What does SV expect from the players? We, the paying customers have expectations of a functioning product. When the product is delivered as not meeting our expectations, Henrik blames the player for being audacious enough to demand a functioning product with our money. "Go play wow" "Leave then" "We won't talk about anything then". It's like talking to a petulant child, and it's not surprise given that the CEO is a trust fund baby with the most extreme adversity faced by him is whether or not to use hair gel and/or beard oil in his photo shoot.

I understand.

Except for the I don't need proof part. That would be nice haha. It does matter if it happened, to me. I have been here awhile as well. I didn't play as much as you guys, but I was mostly around. I was always waiting since I played in MO1. I didn't play MO1 super early, either. I came in like after they added Lyks. It was a very fucky game, but there was cool stuff. In the end, I was just like man, I am paying these dudes subs for multiple accts to create pixels, wack.

The sub is high. The game isn't really viable with 1 acct. You can play, but you depend on other people a lot. So, you probably end up paying 2 subs. My free month is almost over, if not completely over, and now I am like ehhh.

I just want to hear something. I would go to Discord and talk more, but it seems like even when I say stuff and everyone is like YEAH, nothing happens. I told them they need to make some announcement soon.

I told them I would resub simply if they fixed ghost travel, and I can do that, but I don't think they are going to in any timely fashion haha.

I still would like to know 'when' this Henrik meltdown happened.

Game has officially failed by the sounds of it.
Pretty much. Go figure, if you repeat the same mistakes from MO1 in MO2 and make it even worse, it ends up in the same dead state MO1 is in, just a decade faster.
Here's hoping for SV to do exactly the same stupid things for the third time and wonder again why thursars in space died even faster.
A big chunk of this isn't even tied to the game but horrible management decisions like the GMs, no rollbacks after huge exploits and etc...

I mean FFS, they don't even have people on call 24/7 to restart the server if it dies in the middle of the night. One time it happened in the middle of Henrik's stream and the dude said with a straight face that we'll have to wait for Seb to wake up to restart the server in the morning.
Does this seem anything more than a dude and his pet programmer trying to do things?

I'm sorry, but until I see actual footage of the said meltdown from Henrik I remain unconvinced. It's hearsay to me at this point, like with anything that has been said about anyone on the Internet without irrefutable proof. Unsubstantiated fabrications, if you will.

If anyone has the actual footage, please show it here for all to see. Otherwise, let's move on.

As much as it's super lame to have that affect you, I feel like we already signed on for that. That is SINCE INCEPTION level stuff.

There are problems with the game which suck. There is way too much time investment. Dudes want to create an addictive loop, but check it: I just sold my PS5. I have played nba games for decades, and they finally made them grindy enough and required enough real money investment that the playerbase is fucking broken. These large grind investments + real cash = entitled, over-emotional players. I dunno why it is that, but I'd say it is true given what I have seen of games in person and from afar.

SUB should be reduced to 10. One should consider a battle spec sub, maybe for a cluster of months, where you can spec fighting and loot, but you can't gather (so people don't just bot mine or spirit farm w/e it is people do nowadays,) and you can't hold TC. Make it like 15 bucks for 3 months at a time.

Cost needs to be less, grind needs to be less, fun needs to be more.

I personally am OK with playing on Henrik's private server. Oh and people need to treat me better. Like I was just telling someone, I used to be treated exceptionally well by GMs in MO1 and at the beginning of MO2, but now that I have come back, people don't even listen to what I say. I knew there was that level of disparity, but I didn't think it would happen TO ME haha.

They need to treat people well, to sometimes give people stuff they maybe don't deserve because later on they will get DC'd and lose everything. Obviously, some people exploit shit, but you can adjust for those people, too. GMs should generally be like oh lemme do that for you!
I'll give a for instance. I came back with a pre-sub acct, and they gave Khurites extra points. For whatever reason, my points do not wanna go into strength. I shoulda been spec'd str. Been playing for like a month haha. So I wrote a GM and I was like yea can you just move the points from int to str for me or put the int points in the pool? I don't wanna sap points from dex or con. And dude was just like... you need to be actively training an attribute for it to level up. It's like bud I've been wearing heavy armor and fighting the whole time. haha. It goes up, and I may have max str in a few months, but imo something IS WRONG.

No digo tonterías.
