Remove artifact armor and weapons completely. Are the pieces cool? Hell yah they look amazing but I feel like this is a missed opportunity and also basically the death of the crafting system in the game. its a fact as of right now THEE best in slot items drop from a zerg mechanic and ever if they are acquired by a player it still doesn't feel great after the novelty has worn off. with the limitations to the artifacts as far as logging off not being able to store them etc. I suggest their removal from the game and to keep the other systems with some slight changes.
Relics so far have been amazing for GVG and zerg vs zerg fights. However there are a few issues.
Syphoning time is verry short and verry cheap , traveling across some terrain requires holding the relic and is verry difficult if not impossible without adding to GM workload.
Ive only been to a few horde spawn relics and i will say the idea is great but the implementation feels bad. 10 minutes in between waves , the first wave could be killed by a noob with a dagger and no armor. this is also probably the highest contested event as the mobs drop orbs at a high rate.
the Ore nodes regen too slowly for a group of people to farm consistently and feel very underwhelming considering you need 100 essence for 1 orb.
these should fall in clusters and should have no marker on the map to be discovered after looking thoroughly.
Adding blaze orange to armor Looks amazing but i feel like its a bit of overkill as if i am now staring at the end of development for armor and weapons because the "powercreep" on the look is 1000x ahead of the rest of the materials in the game. so what does development do next? a green version? a blue version? some kind of galaxy pattern so we all start running around looking like a weapon skin from call of duty? IF your thinking that not everyone is gunna have a chance to wear it so it wont be everywhere realize this also feels bad to the rest of the players that will never get the chance to wear it.
This amazing looking texture should have been used in a more valuable way in my opinion.
