Is First name unique? Is Surname unique?If someone already taken X as their surname can you use it on your first name? vice versa

Also What's the purpose of character surname if the thing that others see is your first name?

Bump. Also, it might be good to tell at character creation screen that only names (not surnames) are visible!

Surname doesn't need to be unique and it doesn't have a function (yet)
