With all the negativity (some of it warranted) these days, I thought I would post something positive.
Died at a bandit camp tonight, with my only thoughts afterward being getting back to my loot and horse as fast as possible. Respawned at the priest...but stuck in the floor. Tried /stuck, tried respawning multiple times - no luck. Was worried I would have to relog, face the queue again etc. Used the Contact GM feature, not expecting a timely response given how busy they must be...but not 5 minutes later I notice I respawn at the same priest over and over without my doing anything. Did that about 8 or 10 times, then there was a pause of a minute or two, then another respawn, but this time I was a few meters outside the priest building and free!
There was no chat communication with the GM, but I thanked them on voice chat just in case they were invisibly nearby. So a huge thanks to whomever that was, I was able to run back out and recover my mount and loot - and very happy to have gotten out of that situation so quickly.
