Thought I was leaving Haven but somehow was sent back to Haven. No statues around now but there are horses. Is this a glitch?

I was in the Starter Dungeon fighting Bandits and my Inventory box disappeared. I have tried everything I can think to get it back but I can't seem to figure it out. I even uninstalled/reinstalled the game and still have no Inventory box. When I hit the I button the other buttons come up but...
