There is currently a bug that occurs when trying to login quickly, where an error message pops up when clicking the login button and closes the game after you close it.
To fix this, wait around 5 seconds at the login screen before clicking login.
This happens because EAC (Easy Anti Cheat) requires a connection to the Epic Online Services in order to work, and some changes we made in a previous patch sped up the launching process enough that there is not enough time for this connection to establish when logging in quickly.
