We will be hosting and streaming a tournament for fighters of all Myrland.

To determine the best brackets we will take votes and
the top 2 most voted brackets is what we will do.

Once brackets are decided it will be announced and we will proceed with
Announcing prizes and registering teams.

Gear limits will be in place for competitive and fair fights.

All clades will be allowed. Bandages will be allowed. No potions.

Armor: Ironbone/Fullgrain or Hornedscale/Fullgrain

Weapons: Steel Weapons with any grip or handle mat

Shields: Greywood/Anthropod Carapace/Bone

Horse Armor: Ironbone/Fullgrain

The largest bracket of the two will be best two of three fights.

The horse race was fun IDK how hard it was to do last time but thats prob the only mounted content that people would want to see.

Yeah as soon as they fix node lines the population might drop due to pets not being eaten.

Seems like people are gunning for one of the brackets to be 2v2, which will be a snore fest honestly. Can't wait to see one guy with superior ping parry two other guys, return a hit, and parry before they can even hit the dude.

Yes. In MO1 duels / tournaments usually were Ironbone / Molarium armor with Steel / Messing weapons.

steel weapons would make the fights go faster which was the main issue with the old tourny of lasting for hours.

After some thought steel weapons will be allowed to allow for more balance between pierce and slash weapons and also for better rewards

Yeah of course, I think it would just be hilarious to see the strategy.

If I were the foot fighters, we'd have 3 spear users and 2 blunt weapons.

I've seen tournaments with "no restrictions". People bring pets, potions, bandages, oghmium, etc. Yeah real fun display of skill.

I again think the 2v2's will not be as interesting as the other brackets. It also would bloat the amount of entries into the tournament (Could be a good or a bad thing depending on if you want people to stretch out the tournament due to players just parrying non-stop on top of the fact of being numerous people.. unless you capped the entry limit.)

Still. We should show off the part of combat that more-so shows group coordination rather then who has the better ping.

yeah people usually dont see 2v2s so it would be new but there is a reason you dont see 2v2s
