Bounty hunting need to be tweaked. Only a few min cooldown for a contract, some rewards and the bounty should always be in the 4k meters, or maximum in the 8k meters range. Most bounty hunters want to defend their city and region from PKs and not want to travel 1h for a bounty that log of before you reach there, somewhere far away from your home in GK... ! That would be a nice punishment for pks, because they would constantly be hunted and would only go to town for a short moment and leave as fast as possible to not get jumped. Atm it is no fun to do bounty contracts.

Bounty contracts should expire after a couple of hours. You should be able to hold up to 5 contracts, they should be more local and should not drop on death. You should be able to acquire cosmetic sould bound items, tatoos and so on with the earned coins. If you trade the cosmentic items they should be illegal, if you are no bounty hunter and have bought them.

Imo being red need to be more of a punishment and we need more ways to avoid getting red.
I would like if you could declare a "shitter guild" (in which more then 50 % of their Members are Pks) an infinite war without upkeep and without them being able to cancel the war. This would make fights arround towns more fun. Otherwise they could try to send their blue players on the front. People might get grey and guards will come out and for killing theit blue players reputation will be lost. It would also be a bigger punishment for them. ATM you get punished as a player who defend the town instead of getting rewarded-

We should get bounties that are not too far away, so red players not feel save in towns !

I agree that the bounty hunting shouldn't give you a contract on someone that's farther than 4KM unless there is none in that radius then it goes to 8KM. If nobody in that radius then it just tell you there are no current contracts for this city. The exception to this should be if you personally input the person's name that you want to hunt. The bounty system should also have like a top 4 that show up and you can pick those specifically or random lesser targets.

The criminal system also does need a lot of balancing as well. Being red definitely needs more punishment and one of my suggestions for that is if you get caught as a red you should get publicly shamed. Locked in the stocks in town and the rest of the people can throw things at you. This would be a punishment for like a max of 30 minutes based on crimes. If the person was to log out they log back into their punishment still.. the counter doesn't tick while offline. This would keep to the realism of the time since public shaming of criminals was one of the main forms of entertainment. After that give the criminal like 24 hours of a stat debuff from being publicly shamed. So they'd be weaker and unlikely to just immediately go back to murdering.

Also being red should definitely not go away as fast as it does. If you're a criminal you should remain a criminal in that area for days unless you pay a fine. This timer could tick while offline since it'd be days long. Basically red names should be pretty much required to use the lawless towns.. that's why they exist. Adding to this, if you have a bad reputation with a town it should be much harder to gain that back.

On top of all this a noticeboard in town that shows off recent criminal sightings in the area would be nice. Something that automatically updates when innocents see criminals nearby and also updates when a criminal is reported. This way players can at least see there are criminals nearby and decide to either stay within the city for a bit or go and kill them.

Basically there's a lot of thematic things they could do to help deter PKing and to help encourage people to become bounty hunters. PKing isn't something you should just do because you're bored. It should be something you decide to do based on the pros and cons.. currently there's really only pros from the loot you get.

The contract vendors should have 2 or 3 options when choosing the contract. Something like a close, medium and far. If you select close and nothing is available it should prompt you to widen your search.

Some people wouldn’t mind going on a far away hunt if it means a higher reward.

I don't think there should be a difference in reward based on distance. It makes no logical sense really. If anything, you'd pay more to get rid of the nearby criminals since they pose a more immediate threat. The only difference in reward should be based on the criminal's crimes. Which should change their punishments as well. So basically the more/worse crimes you've committed in an area the more you'd want to be away from that area anyway due to your punishment being more severe. There should be reasons criminals are being pushed out of lawful areas of the game and being pushed into lawless areas. More than just "Well I'll go sit in a lawless town until my status goes back to blue." Then show back up in town like nothing ever happened. Crimes shouldn't just be forgotten. If you murder someone in real life you don't just leave the town for a bit then come back and nobody cares.

Higher reward for more effort. It takes a lot more time to hunt someone that is across the map, and there is a far greater chance that they will log off. It only makes sense to up the reward.

If you dont entice players with higher rewards, than nobody will bother.

Leave hunting people farther away for the other towns though. I think you're forgetting that there are other towns out in the world.. not just Meduli as shown in the picture. You entice people with the loot and reward of turning in their head. You don't need greater rewards for distance.

It is annoying to walk from town to town to get a new contract because of the cooldown and because you cant buy multiple contracts.

I like this. Makes sense that if you're willing to go into GK to hunt down the lord of the shitters, that you would be appropriately compensated rather than getting the same reward as if the guy was in town.

It is annoying to walk from town to town to get a new contract because of the cooldown and because you cant buy multiple contracts.
They need to drop on death. When the bounty hunter fails he needs to lose the contract. Additionally; logout timer needs to be increased a lot so a bounty hunter can't just log out after failing to kill their target to escape dying. A bounty hunters pets should remain local grey to the hunted for a long time after they die, as well. And anyone who sends their pets to attack when they do not have enough pet points to hold them should lose all their pet loyalty and have their pets go untamed instantly, or have their character banned for a week, that would work, too.

A few times recently I was bounty hunted in town and the little bastards were able to just respawn and grab their own loot. Let bounty hunter loot bags be lootable in town without going criminal!

Coins should drop rewards that are only available to bounty hunters. you should not be able to be a murderer and a bounty hunter. the birds should be a pet and cost pp. their should be a bounty hunter leader board and ranks. some items bought with bounty hunter coins should only be available to certain ranks.

agreed. also we could choose how far we want to tralvel and not by random. maybe we could choose how bad PK is and how much money u can get for him
