Alvarins are such outliers and their playrate is absurd.

I log into Meduli, and something pops up in my head "damn there's a lot of Alvarins", now I know they are majority playrate but I thought maybe it's 2-1 ratio or something, I go let's count.
So for today, I counted everyone I met, and every head posted in chat. Here's some data

Town first count, almost right when I logged on, excluding myself, this is not made up, a joke or a meme, these are literally the numbers as crazy as it sounds:
Alvarins - 13
Thursars -1
Oghmirs -1
Humans - 0
Then I went into a dungeon, saw 3 Alvarins and died to them and a few mounteds maybe humans maybe alvarins on the way there, I will not count the mounteds, because I don't know if it's humans or alvarins.

So far Alvarins 16, Thursars -1 Oghmirs -1 Humans -0

Now for the heads posted in chat
Alvarin - 9
Thursar -1
Oghmir -5 (all 5 in one group of head posts, so not unique fights)
Human -0

So total count of people I seen today is: 25 Alvarins 2 Thursars 6 Oghmirs and 0 Humans. I probably saw but didnt count a few humans in town later,
This leaves us at alvarins being 75% of the playrate, while only being 25% or 1 out of 4 clades.


This is an absurd outlier, and needs nerfs instantly. SV is perhaps LYING that they have internal data, if they did they would nerf them long time ago, and def wouldnt nerf Thursars before alvarins, at best they have subbed chars and accounts list and what clade they are and many people have multiple or even all characters, but what matters is playrate.


Now obviously to address the elephant in the room this is low sample size, anecdotal data, and I have not even provided proof, but I urge you to try counting for yourself, I promise you they are easily the majority and more played than 3 other races combined, especially outside of towns, as in town chars are often dueling or trade or crafting chars, for which it benefits to be other races. Go to your closest dungeon and count the clades being played. Check every head posted in chat and see which race it is.

If they want to fix race diversity, they have to overhaul healing.

Mobility will always be the superior option in a game where you can instantly heal; and whereby you can only kill someone who instantly heals via mobility.

It is ALL because of healing.

Healing must become a stationary task.

Fix healing, and you balance mobility as a byproduct.

The Alvarins can see through walls and anything else you may be hiding behind, that's probably how they found you in the dungeon. They knew exactly where you were, and that you were alone (if so). They had the upper hand even before the encounter happened.

I'm not surprised that Alvarins are the most popular clade, who wouldn't want a handy cheat mode!

I agree but they just will not do that as they operate on feedback plus that is too much work so better just nerf Alvarins and erase 70% of the problem that issue causes. If I could pick and choose id rebalance rhe game from the ground up but we have to be realistic here.

You agree alvarins are outliers you found a cause but cause is much harder to deal with than just going "yeah you actually cannot just dip out of melee by jumping once"

See through walls take no fall dmg swim endlessly jump 3x higher do more dmg than Thursars for 1/3rd of the time, way faster than other races even if they go bulging, srart with 2 adren, use bows magic and daggers the best by far. Just 5% hp less than an average footie. They are so over the top I bet I forgot a few things.

While healing is an issue, i disagree that its the main problem. Mobility still allows you to avoid taking damage and is therefore just as important as healing for staying alive, if not more. Mobility also allows you to create distance which in turns lets you have time for healing.
Thursars are a great example. They have insane self healing while dealing damage, but they still arent as popular as vheelas mainly because they dont have speed to simply get away.

Being able to kite and reset the fight any time you want is simply OP. Always has been.

Yeah they have to nerf them next patch they are dominating so hard. They do foot archer build and destroy you now. People keep figuring new builds out and its all Alvarins abusing their speed lol

Exactly his idea is that we should make ehaling harder but all that does is makes alvarin wait a bit more before going in again and you still first of all have 0 kill pressure on the alvarin so he really dgaf about you. Its so busted

If they go in meele or get caught gap closed they shouldnt be able to leave in no time with minimal hit or 0 coz they legit jump 4 meters in the air with tiny hitbox.

Humans are very good for crafters and special builds because of all those additional primary points for clade gifts and from mastery. But you are right, for other usages I'm preferring an Alvarin, too.
