I know that SV probably don't want the classic MMORPG Aggro/threat system in their game. But the current AI behaviour switching targets all randomly makes no sense to me.
My suggestion is a aggro system with a twist.
AI will attack the player who has done the most amount of damage, but there is for example a 50% chance that the AI will switch and target the player with the second most damage done for 10-15 sec and then switch back to the top damager. This % chance of getting attacked could be added to every player around, but the chance of getting attacked should be lower depening on how much damage you are doing.
